Hi
I am having windows xp. I have installed XAMPP.

From yesterday, my MySQL service is not starting, what to do ?

When I press start, it starts then automatically it stops.
I have never seen like this.
Is it necessary to add "mysqld-nt" file in startup ?

And if you manually shut it down and re-start it?
Seriously... if people don't start reading this before posting, I'm going to consider not answering at all.

Check what other programs you are running which may be interfering. I know that if I have Skype running Apache will do the same thing - immediately start and then stop.
The quality of the responses received is directly proportional to the quality of the question asked.

I do not always test the code I provide, so there may be some syntax errors. In 99% of all cases I found the solution to your problem here: http://www.php.net
