I can seemingly can install either one, but not both. sudo yum install httpd24 php54-mysqld Works. But once I get mysqld installed, it conflicts with mbstring when installing that later. Any ideas? jeffreyappel Posted April 6, 2015 Share Posted April 6, 2015 Try running php -r 'dl("mysqli.so"); phpinfo();' | grep mysqli to check if the module load normaly with dl() function. As you are using Linux, change extension=php_mysqli.dll to extension=mysqli.so. In your php.ini you may want to uncomment ; extension_dir = "./" and put the correct path to your extensions.
