QuickOldCar Posted May 26, 2015 Share Posted May 26, 2015 Any 64 bit operating system would struggle with only 2 gig memory. Memory is also being used for the onboard video. While the E5300 was no slouch when was created, it can not even compare the performance of the I5 or I7 quad cores You can look to see what is being used more in task manager, cpu or memory, my guess is memory. So what are you trying to do that's so slow? Have much running at once? Lots of installed applications? If you do have money to spend then I would definatly recommend you add more memory, 2GB of memory is very low especially for a 64bit OS. You should have at least 4 GB or more.
