Thanks for the reply. I have tried Netbeans. But it does not has Syntax highlighting and for some reason its not able to save the file to the desired directory. Donno why. Do we have anything compared to Dreamweaver? I mean Gedit has syntax highlighting which really helps to understand the code. I need something which also has auto-syntax complete and some other simple features. Thanks again. Regards, Saad

Hi Guys, I am new to PHP and PHPfreaks. I have started learning PHP with the help of tutorials by one of my friend. Earlier, I had Windows 7 on my PC and now I have installed Ubuntu 10.10 after it crashed down. Want to know which is the best PHP ide for Ubuntu 10.10. I was using Editplus and Dreamweaver in Windows. Is there anything comparitive to both of these in Ubuntu? Thanks in advance. Regards, Saad
