  1. ...once again are FRIGGIN AWESOME! I don't pretend to completely understand everything in this response below from mr akitchin but i am an enthusiastic, google driven noob! "answer: put the processing in the header, and store the results in variables. perhaps a $result variable that is 1 if successful, 0 if failed. then $output that contains either a success message or customized error messages. the new code would look like: [html starting the page and layout] [php echoing the results] [form code if failed - exit(); if successful]" woohoo!!! keep on drivin!
  2. maniac....thats where i saw it!
  3. Guys, Thank you for all you do. This really is a great place. After developing a site and uploading then continuing to update the code, I am looking for a habitual process for updating files while not be afraid of losing the old code in case something goes wrong. I cant seem to get my head around the best method of naming, saving, removing, panicking...etc. Just looking for your methods of the development process in terms of file organization. I would list what I do now but I never do the same thing twice.... You guys are unbelievable. Google is awesome.
  4. Ben here. Started this php thing about a month ago. Forums like this are unbelievable. Question - How do I build a web page...JK! ....just read http://slash7.com/2006/12/22/vampires/ and laughed my butt off! Seriously.....God is good...ask and you shall receive.
