    Yes, I got the answer. 
    I modified query like this
    SELECT mid, mod_name, parent_id, link FROM modules m JOIN module_access ma ON (m.mid=ma.page_id OR ma.page_id=m.parent_id) WHERE ma.user=1 ORDER BY m.mid Thanks a lot @Barandfor your valuable time and patience.
