Hi, we have a wordpress website that needs the php updating, currently running version 5.6.40 wordpress is recommending version 7.4 firstly would updating affect our site? Another problem is we have a shift rota that sits on our web space it's a stand a.one program that is php outdated but is very very important to our opperation, whilst we are all volunteer's we are integrated in the uk national search and rescue. If we update wordpress would this affect the rota in any way and would it affect the addressing from the menu on the website? As you have already guessed we are pretty hopeless whith php

Hi I am compleatly new to php, we have a website that has a program called calendarix it is a calendar that we use for a shift Rota. We are a station that is integrated into the national search and rescue (SAR) uk which is a compleatly voluntary organisation. For operational reasons we have had to change our web address from www.ncirossallpoint.co.uk to www.ncifleetwood.co.uk during the transfare to new web space the shift Rota will not work all the files and data bases appeared to be copied across but on the www.ncifleetwood.co.uk site the address https://www.ncifleetwood.co.uk/watchrota/cal_login.php brings up a blank page whereas the address on the old site https://www.ncirossallpoint.co.uk/watchrota/cal_login.php brings the login page. If anyone could please give any ideas/ reasons why it will not work on the new site it would be great as this Rota is very important to us. thanks
