I'm a complete beginner to PHP. I used to write Delphi Pascal. I'm now retired and far too old for my own good!
I have a phpBB Forum. I want to be able to send mail to my users, but my mail server is on a different computer. Someone told me it's simple, but it isn't simple to someone who is completely new to php.
Both servers are on Alma 8.6 linux.
My Postfix/Dovecot mail server is on mail.office.myDomain.com. I'm not interested in being able to RECEIVE mail to the server with the phpBB forum, I just want to be able to SEND mail to my users.
Can someone help me here, please? Make it VERY simple. My L-Plates are very new!
