  1. I decide to create a personal site by way of a CMS.  Currently I am using Dreamweaver and updating everything manually.  Well I thought I get with the time and upgraded.  The following are things I am looking for. 1. Easy to use 2. Has downloadable themes 3. Cost doesn't matter but quality does 4. Customizable 5. Things I would like to add to site - flash photo Album, resume, and blog. 6. Modern looking (web 2.0).
  2. In IIS you were able to install the web server in windows and then create virtual directories anywhere, including a external drive.  This way the location on the external drive (directory ) would act as a webserver location.  You were able to execute scripts.  I need this setup because I would like to work on web apps at home and at work and be able and be able to just plug in my external drive and it would be part of the web server. Is there a way to do that with apache 2.0?
  3. Environment:  Apache 2 / PHP 5 / MySQL 4 / SUSE 10 / Oracle 10G DW2004 / Phakt 3.6.5  / ADODB Connection I just did a fresh web server install. Is there anything I need to add to my server for the connection to work? Some sort of oracle support in php?  Drivers?
  4. What is the difference between \"Load Data Infile\" and \"mysqlimport\"
  5. am new a MYSQL. I have been using Access. Now, I am converting to MYSQL. I got a tool that takes a Access file and converts it to a dump file call \"filename.sql\" Now how do I import that into MYSQL? After logging into mysql what should I do next and what is the command to import this file? Also, I tried using PHPMYadmin. Because this is a huge file (50,000 records) it times out. So is there a way I can adjust the time so it doesn\'t time out. I want to learn how to do this both ways. via the command line and via phpmyadmin. thanx. Am example of the command line would be great. I log into mysql, I get this promt \"MYSQL>\" Now what do I type? My data file is located at \"c:/data.sql\"
  6. Is any third party software out there that I can use MYSQL database to create applications, not web based. But stand alone, sort of like ACCESS, and ORACLE. I want to be able to run it on the client side without using a browser. Thanx Shakim@hotmail.com
