Hi i have some text in a database and i need to replace the double quotes with nothing when i pull them out. e.g need frm db ..hello "my name " is John when i write to screen change to hello my name  is John im trying to use $notes = str_replace("\"\"","",$notes); but for the love of god i cant seem to get it to work sorry if this have been answered b4 ive really looked
