Wow!  Thanks for the responses - I am delighted! I thought that the front page was too busy myself and that it takes too long to load so I want shot of the bumpf in the middle really I suppose.  You know, sale banners etc. I purchased the website being told that it would be easy to update and that it had far more paid advertisers than it does.  Have given up pursuing the person who sold it me as I am getting know-where. Basically I need to know why I cant edit that front page and why I cant change the category listing as I want to. I am fine with all the databases etc that run behind the scenes. Soto-hosting is where I go to try and edit the pages.  I am quite prepared to give anyone who would take a look my user-name and password to have a look but I clearly dont want to post them here. Hi and thanks for the reply! I removed one of the banners and replaced with another one but that hasnt happened.  Also tried to add a category down the left-handside but without success.  I am used to editing documents in html and have managed to edit a couple of the other pages (i.e.) about and upload successfully but the front page it a nightmare.  Regards Sarah

Hi, I purchased a website a little while ago that was supposed to be easily maintained and I was supposed to get support with.  Well lets just say that things dont always work out how you think they were and I am stuck. I need to update my homepage and I just cant make it work. www.caboodleshops.co.uk I have html knowledge but everything appears to be php. Any help greatly appreciated! Ta Sarah
