  1. I tried that but an error message appears saying "permission denied".  The folder has "Everyone" - full permission, set so it can't be an authentication problem. 
  2. Hi, I am not sure I am on the right lines here but I want to display the contents of some text files using PHP on a web page.  I have tried mapping a drive directly to the text files, so they have their own path instead of a network name, I have tried using a network name and this doesn't work either. Is the only way to copy the files to a local directory and then display them - This I can get to work quite easily. Thanks - Any help would be great, John
