There is nothing to register with government. in most of the cases you should to choose the licence which relates your Software. and then that product is copyrighted with you under the terms and conditions of that lincence. [sorry for bad english]

If you need speed / Performance -> use C / C++ if you need programmimg with Ease / multiplatform -> use PHP / python / Ruby(I donno wheather ruby is multy platform or not) If you need something in between above 2 use perl or bash.

The thing about which I am talking is a PHP librery zigmoyd PHP librery at http://zigmoyd.net what you think can you consider a librery 974 KB Space ?? where its current version is too less than that. if the question is why its so big the answer is. it offers so many things even it can do the most secure magical thing that Your Images , JS , CSS files are completely (98% cause nothing is 100% in the world) secured and no user's can copy and use the image , JS, CSS or any creative products from your sites.

I of cource need to think about saving diskspace and lower teh package size.

Sotre them into a folder and add this .htaccess file in it. deny from all and create a doc_router.php file that reads and gets contents from that folder upon validation and serves the cpntents of those file.

If I cnvert the 1st one to 2nd it would save 1 Byte per function , If, else, class, switch....... I've ~74 files full of functions and classes and if's, else's ...... and its 974 KB all total think If I can convert all if, else, ...... in this how much size will be decreesed.

Its possible only if the code is less than 20 lines. cause variable names function name can not be same cause you are human beings not a robot . there must be some difference. although Zend studio works better than this. PHP Designer 2007 is Lightweight . But it has no version for Linux Whereas zend studion works in Linux.
