Hello there, I was wondering if it would be possible to use a google docs account to auto-update an application, basically what happens is: Users download the (encrypted) application from main site, then host them on there own servers. What i would like is for the encrypted application to be able to go to Google through an account which i will setup, i then want it to look at the documents and see if there are any new updates. However, the Google docs API only lists ways in which the user logs in, then gets there own documents....i just want the application to (silently) login to an account i create and check for updates.. Is this possible? Dan

Hiya Guys Could just do with a bit of help with some good ol' file manipulation, what i need to do is grab the source of a page (which i have done) and it is now in an array (it could be in a string if it would be easier?) I now need to replace the part of the file in between <head> and </head> with a new set of lines, deleting the old ones. Does anyone know how i would go about such a plan? I cant see any existing functions to do it...i could create one if you guys would just point me in the right direction of which PHP fuctions to use?
