Thanks ADX I have tried to get hover effects to work but with no joy I can't seem to grasp the code correctly.

I have now validated my home page and am working my way through my site to validate all pages i will let you know how i get on in about a year of scratching my head again lol many thanks all.

Thanks for all your input i am trying to validate my home page which i have brought down to just a few errors could anybody help me with which doc type i should use when using frontpage 2003 i don't know if i should use strict, transitional or frameset. many thanks

Thanks for your input I think i will be bold by the time i have finished scratching my head on this one lol, I built my website with frontpage 2003 and i think the coding is not up to scratch.
