Hi, I am close to installing Joomla 1.5.9, but I am having a problem. I get the following message while doing the pre-installation check on Joomla. It says "- MySQL Support - No" and it needs to be "Yes". I am running Apache 2.2 and MySql 5.1. and PHP 5.2.8 on windows. Everything seems to be working fine. I assume something needs to be configured in my PHP files. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in Advance. Erik

Hello, I am trying to install Joomla 1.5 on Xampp. I get the following message in the setup of Joomla. "These are the recommended settings for PHP in order to ensure full compatibility with Joomla!. Display Errors: need to be "OFF" and mine are "ON" Any suggestions on how turn off display errors in PHP. Thanks you in advance. erik16

Hello, I get the follow message when I try to download Php 5.28 " Error trying to access httpd.con file. You may need to manually configure your web server". I am running Apache HTTP Server 2.2, MySQL Server 6.0 and trying to use PHP 5.2.8. I am running this on Windows XP. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Erik
