  1. if you set the position as "absolute", it should go wherever you want it to go, even if there's already something there. like this: .box { position: absolute; length: XXXpx; width: XXXpx; top: XXXpx; bottom: XXXpx; ] and that should go where you want it to. i would help more. but like i said- problems with your URL
  2. is your css file huge? i'm having trouble with the link you put up. can you just post it?
  3. it's not really your place to decide. but i get it. in a page im building, my links are div containers, so you cant really right click and go down to open in new window/ tab, but this might work (emphasis on might): * { target-new: tab ! important } i haven't gotten it to work yet, but i'm probably just missing something. it's "theoretically" supposed to work if your browser knows what the hell you're talking about first. "tabs? dude, i got tabs?!" - good luck.
