Well in your header there is an image(the pages) and a bg image that is stretched to the end of that cell. The bg image is not matching the edge of the image.

For the announce field i will have to change the register fields to include the new announce field. The announce field will then be assigned 0 as the default. The algorithym you have is pretty much spot on...if its 1 it will show the picture(which will always be the same) if not it will not display it. Also on clicking this picture it will assign the users announce field a 0 value. Does this sound do-able?

Yeah every odd number...not sure how that may be done though.

What i mean about the alternating colours is for each table that is displayed alternate the color from white like you have to white and another colour so you can define the individual posts. The part i am focused on is the 10 newest posts section. Hope this helps.

With gradient it make matching images quite hard. If you for instance have a header that has your logo on top of a gradient...changing the logo requites you to make sure you match the previous gradient. Gradient is ok with your approach of putting it behind tables. Though rounding corners and putting them ontop of gradient always makes it look unprofessional due to the fact that the gif pixels are either completely transparent or a colour. I would never cast aside a good grey template. They look professional and are easy on the eye

Ill try to better explain it. With announcements its hard to make individuals aware of new things. What i would like is a line of code that would check to see if a users Anounce Field in the DB = 1...if so then it would display the image that linked to the announce.php file. If the user field did not = 1 then it would not display the image with the link. Does that clear it up?

The site at http://port2.ericwooley.com/ has the 2 drop down tabs either side of the buttons. I would put the drop down on mouse over tabs on the left hand side of the site. I still think, for the sake of making your life easier your content background should be a single colour. If your trying to show individuals that your professional that would be an issue. What i mean is change the button type and textbox type. I would really address the alternating post background colours like i said in my previous post...it would make a world of difference.

I quite enjoy the funnys you have all over the site. But i wouldnt have them. Employers are looking for someone who will get the job done. By showing this side of yourself you may be doing yourself a injustice. I have no other critiques, it all seems to work quite well.

I actually think this is quite decent compared to the others ive seen today. Its not to colourful and the design is quite clean. My main annotance is that the header image and the stretched background file dont match up properly...That annoys the hell out of me for some bizzare reason. All that effort then that.

I think the photoshop work is great but i would definately tone down the abrasive red. Its really in your face and takes over. I would replace it with a blue. Also your template shows a definite end on the right hand side i would address that. So to summarise: Red to overwhelming(change to a nice blue perhaps) Fix the obvious end of the template to the right. Hope this helps.

First issue. Steer clear of gradient. And if it is nessesary to use, uses variations of the same colour. Like Grey and slightly darker grey. Firefox has no issue with your site horizontally. Like mentioned before i would finish the template then repost. That way we know what is not being worked on.

Thanks alot for your time. Ive implemented the files on my site already and awaiting the the change. A quick question. I have looked on the server and there doesnt appear to be a rotations.txt. Must i create this?
