  1. Hi there, I was trying to do a live table edit for our site. Everything seemed to be going ok, till i realised that its not actually updating the database, there are no error messages, you have to refresh the page to see it hasn't worked. I'm at a loss as to why was hoping someone might be able to point me in the right direction. thanks, MsKazza tableedit.php table_edit_ajax.php

  3. New to Ajax, and BAD with the scripting below, bare with me. Looking to select a drop down and push all values to the query string at the end. Works perfectly with ONE select element. I just have no idea how to separate the variables. The code below is putting whatever form element I change into the first "str" variable. if possible if one of the elements below is changed, all three of variables the data is placed in the query string in the correct place if that makes sense. Form <form> <table style="width:100%"> <tr> <td style="width:85px;"> Project </td> <td style="text-align:right;"> <select name="fm_project" class="allform_select" onchange="showdata(this.value)"> <option value="2" >ProjectA</option> <option value="1" >ProjectB</option> <option value="3" >ProjectC</option> <option value="0" SELECTED>Select One</option> </select> </td> </tr> <tr> <td style="width:85px;"> Module </td> <td style="text-align:right;"> <select name="fm_module" class="allform_select" onchange="showdata(this.value)"> <option value="194" >B</option> <option value="195" >C</option> <option value="197" >D</option> <option value="196" >E</option> <option value="0" SELECTED>Select One</option></td> </select> </tr> <tr> <td style="width:85px;"> Stage </td> <td style="text-align:right;"> <select name="fm_stage" class="allform_select" onchange="showdata(this.value)"> <option value="201" >BLUE</option> <option value="202" >GREEN</option> <option value="203" >RED</option> <option value="0" SELECTED>Select One</option> </select> </td> </tr> </table> </form> Script <script> function showdata(str, stra, strb) { var xhttp; if (str == "") { document.getElementById("graph_field").innerHTML = ""; return; } if (stra == "") { document.getElementById("graph_field").innerHTML = ""; return; } if (strb == "") { document.getElementById("graph_field").innerHTML = ""; return; } xhttp = new XMLHttpRequest(); xhttp.onreadystatechange = function() { if (this.readyState == 4 && this.status == 200) { document.getElementById("graph_field").innerHTML = this.responseText; } }; xhttp.open("GET", "printme.php?app=projects&ala=csajax&fm_project="+str+"&fm_module="+stra+"&fm_stage="+strb, true); xhttp.send(); } </script>
  4. For eg, say I am retreiving 3 records from database and they look like this. <div class="record"> <h1>Record title 1</h1> <p>Record description</p> <button class="button">send message</button> </div> <div class="record"> <h1>Record title 2</h1> <p>Record description</p> <button class="button">send message</button> </div> <div class="record"> <h1>Record title 3</h1> <p>Record description</p> <button class="button">send message</button> </div> and this is my ajax to load the form. <script> $(document).ready(function(){ $(".button").click(function(){ $(".record").load("form.php .new-form"); }); }); </script> the form looks like this. <form class="new-form"> <textarea name="message" class="message"></textarea> <input type="button" name="submit" class="form-submit" value="Send Message"> </form> That all works. The only problem with that is, it loads the form in EACH record. How can I make it so that the form only loads to the div record from which I am calling from?

  7. Hello I have this Ajax code witch working good, but I'm not really good at javascript I just started 1 month ago, so I'm not sure if this code is perfect or not, or is there any way to improve this AJAX code. HTML/AJAX <input type="text" id="text_1" /> <button name="js_btn_func" id="js_btn_func" onclick="ajax()" > Execute JavaScript / AJAX Function </button> <div id="success_2"></div> <div id="result_2"></div> <div id="error_2"></div> <script> try { var results_area_2 = document.getElementById("result_2"); var error_area_2 = document.getElementById("error_2"); var success_area_2 = document.getElementById("success_2"); function ajax(str) { var xhttp; var str = document.getElementById("text_1").value; if (str == "") { document.getElementById("result_2").innerHTML = ""; return; } xhttp = new XMLHttpRequest(); xhttp.onreadystatechange = function() { if (xhttp.readyState == 4 && xhttp.status == 200) { results_area_2.innerHTML = xhttp.responseText; success_area_2.innerHTML = ('Success: Script is <b>ON</b>'); } } xhttp.open("POST", "action.php?name="+str, true); xhttp.send(); } } catch(e){ alert('An error has occurred: '+e.message) error_area_2.innerHTML = ('Error: Script is <b>OFF</b>'); } </script> PHP <?php $random_query = mt_rand(1, 9999); if (isset($_REQUEST["name"])){ $q = $_REQUEST["name"]; echo "Hello <b>$q</b>! random number : $random_query "; } ?> Thanks in advance.
  8. So I have a simple script that adds and returns mysql data without refreshing the page. Everything works as it should. The only issue that I've noticed is that if I login as a user and insert a record(text) the FIRST time, it won't return that record in the row below. Not until I refresh the page. Now if I delete that record and insert a new record, it will then automatically return the record without the page refresh, as it should. Can you tell me why this is happening? Here is my js code. <script> $(document).ready(function(){ var recordId = $("#record-id").val(); function showRecord(){ $.ajax({ type: "POST", url: "bid-actions.php", data: "recordId="+recordId+"&action=showRecord", success:function(data){ $(".show-records").html(data); } }); } showRecord(); $(document).on('click','#record-submit',function() { var message = $("#message").val(); var recordId = $("#record-id").val(); $.ajax({ type: "POST", url: "bid-actions.php", data: "message="+message+"&recordId="+recordId+"&action=insertRecord", success:function(data){ showRecord(); $("#message").val(''); } }); }); }); </script> Html code. <div id="record-submit-form"> <input type="hidden" id="record-id" value="<?php echo $record_id; ?>"> <textarea id="message"></textarea> <input type="button" id="record-submit" value="Submit"> </div> <div class="show-records"> </div>
  9. I have created a registration page to access my website. After the user registrate himself should appear an alert saying that the registration was OK and a redirect to main.php page... however for some reason if I create an insert statement the alert and the redirect don't appear... If I remove the insert the alert and the redirect works... why? This is part of the code of my 3 files: registration.php (ajax call) $('#submit').click(function() { var username2 = $('#uname2').val(); var password2 = $('#psw2').val(); $.ajax({ url: 'ajax/response.php', type: 'GET', data: {username2 : username2, password2: password2}, success: function(data) { if(data === 'correct') { alert("Username and Password have been created!"); //don' work with the insert location.replace("main.php"); //don' work with the insert } else { alert("Username or password are not correct... please register yourself!"); } } }); }); response.php (answer to ajax call) if(isset($_GET['username2']) && isset($_GET['password2'])) { $username2 = $_GET['username2']; $password2 = $_GET['password2']; if (checkUser($pdo, $username2) === true) { echo 'duplicate'; } else { insertUserPwd($pdo, $username2, $password2); //including this line the redirect and the alert doesn't work... the insert is OK echo 'correct'; } } data_access.php (the function works but doesn't permit alert and redirect to appear) function insertUserPwd(PDO $pdo, $usr, $pwd) { $data = [ 'id' => '', 'user' => $usr, 'password' => $pwd ]; $sql = "INSERT INTO users (id, user, password) VALUES (:id, :user, :password)"; $stmt= $pdo->prepare($sql); $stmt->execute($data); } Can someone help me to fix the code?
  10. Hi all ! In my previous question asked today I said that I am using dropdown lists for selecting country, state, city and pin. The initial lists are blank and use the selection of country to trigger the loading of states and choosing a state triggers the loading of cities and so I am using ajax for this purpose - more specifically the $ajax() function of jquery. In a normal call to a php page, the integrity is maintained via sessions, and csrf is prevented via tokens embedded in the form, but how do I take care of these when data is being passed through the ajax call ? Any other security measures that need to be looked into while using this method or special security mechanisms that I need to apply? I would of-course check the data received this way, by using all the normal data validation methods on the server side. Thanks all !
  11. I have the following code for my dropbox; <select name="Symptom" id="Symptomid" onchange="LSC(this.value)"> Its options are; <option value="<?php echo $row_RsSymptom['name']?>"><?php echo $row_RsSymptom['name']?></option> i have the script ; <script> function LSC(str) { if (str == "") { document.getElementById("txtHint").innerHTML = ""; return; } else { if (window.XMLHttpRequest) { // code for IE7+, Firefox, Chrome, Opera, Safari xmlhttp = new XMLHttpRequest(); } else { // code for IE6, IE5 xmlhttp = new ActiveXObject("Microsoft.XMLHTTP"); } xmlhttp.onreadystatechange = function() { if (xmlhttp.readyState == 4 && xmlhttp.status == 200) { document.getElementById("txtHint").innerHTML = xmlhttp.responseText; } } xmlhttp.open("GET","LoadSymptomDetails.php?q="+str,true); xmlhttp.send(); } } </script> The LoadSymptomDetails.php has the following lines; $sql1 = mysql_query("SELECT name,description , comments FROM symptoms WHERE symptoms.name ='".$q."'") or die(mysql_error()); The q is not being picked. If i remove the where statement it runs and displays the table. Kindly assist. Azhar
  12. i'm trying to make a notification tab work but do not seem to get it right. The dropdown is working fine but the ajax call to newfriends.php is not working right, when viewed with firebug there are no results to be seen in the dropdown.Quite confusing.   14. I have some routines I use over and over Is there a way to put the error section in a file of its own For example I use a routine below <script type="text/javascript"> $('.MYTRIGGER').live('change', function() { var MyData=''; $("#jq_tab").val('0'); var NameData=$(this).attr('name'); var IdData=$(this).attr('id'); MyData=MyData+'CID='+NameData;; MyData=MyData+'&Field='+IdData; MyData=MyData+'&FieldValue='+$(this).val(); $.ajax( { cache:false, timeout:28000, url : 'MyPhp.php', type : 'post', data : MyData, success : function( resp ) { $("#jq_tab").val('1'); return(false); }, error: function(xhr, status, error) { var stat = $("#jq_tab").val(); $("#main_page_div").unmask_div(); if(stat!='1'){ if (xhr.status === 0) { alert('Unable to connect to Network'); } else if (xhr.status == 404) { alert('Requested page not found. [404]'); } else if (xhr.status == 500) { alert('Internal Server Error [500].'); } else if (exception === 'parsererror') { alert('Requested JSON parse failed.'); } else if (exception === 'timeout') { alert('System Timeout (Internet Congestion or server slow)'); } else if (exception === 'abort') { alert('Ajax request aborted.'); } else { alert('Unspecified Error #' + xhr.responseText); } } return false; } // eof error function }); }); </script> Since the below is common error: function(xhr, status, error) { var stat = $("#jq_tab").val(); $("#main_page_div").unmask_div(); if(stat!='1'){ if (xhr.status === 0) { alert('Unable to connect to Network'); } else if (xhr.status == 404) { alert('Requested page not found.   15. You know when you type text into a form input and it automatically types the same text in another div? Well I am trying to do the same thing but instead show the same text value from the div 1 to div 2. Here is my code. It works with the input text field but not with the textarea. Can you tell me why? <input type="text" name="title" id="title" value="" maxlength="55" /> <textarea name="details" id="details" value="" maxlength="160" ></textarea> <!-- Values show up in these inputs --> <input type="text" name="seo_page_title" id="seo_page_title" value="" maxlength="55" /> <textarea name="seo_page_description" id="seo_page_description" maxlength="160" ></textarea> <script> $('#title').on("input", function() { var dInput = this.value; console.log(dInput); $('#seo_page_title').val(dInput); }); $('#details').on("input", function() { var dInput = this.value; console.log(dInput); $('#seo_page_description').val(dInput); }); </script>
  16. Hi, I have the following setup: A main-page.php that is consisted of: 1) A header 2) A nav bar 3) Content (is loaded inside a <div id="dynamic-content"></div>) 4) Footer Inside the nav bar you find several options (ex. About Us, Contact Us, etc..). Lets say that the script responsible for "About Us" is called about-us.php. What i want to achieve is to load the output of about-us.php page inside the content area (aka the dynamic-content div), as soon as i press the "About Us" button (#about-us div). In order to achieve this i use the following AJAX call: $("#about-us").on('click', function(){ $.ajax({ url: "about-us.php", success: function(output){ $("#dynamic-content").html(output); } }); }); Both main-page.php and about-us.php include their own CSS and JavaScript files: main-page.js and main-page.css included in main-page.php about-us.js and about-us.css included in about-us.php THE PROBLEM I FACE: Initially the tabs inside nav bar (About us, Contact Us, etc) were stand alone pages, meaning when you clicked on the link it redirected you to a new URL (for example http://www.domain.com/about-us.php). In this case about-us.php was consisted of a head where all CSS was included, a body where all JS was included, In other words it was a complete HTML/PHP page. The page was working properly. When i tried to load this page into a div inside main-page.php, i started facing some problems. Sometimes CSS was overwritten by the CSS of Contact Us causing problems (at this point i have to mention that since about-us.php and contact-us.php were stand alone pages, sometimes we used the same classes/ids to target DOM elements). Problems started to happen with JS as well. THE QUESTION: What is the correct way to use CSS and Javascript files of about-us.php? Should i include them inside the about-us.php script or include them inside the main-page.php? Do i have to create one big CSS and one big JS file that will include all previously created CSS and JS that will target each element of each imported page? Is there another way? Thanks in advance.
  17. I'm creating a social network site using Laravel. I have a page that load all the posts created by users the currentUser follows. I have a comment section on each post. I'm using ajax to post the comments. Here is my code. Here is the view of the comment-box. It contains a section where I loop through each comment and display them. At the end is the type field so a user can post a new comment: <div class="comment-box-container ajax-refresh"> <div class="comment-box"> @if ($type->comments) @foreach ($type->comments as $comment) <div class="user-comment-box"> <div class="user-comment"> <p class="comment"> <!-- starts off with users name in blue followed by their comment--> <span class="tag-user"><a href="{{ route('profile', $comment->owner->id) }}">{{ $comment->owner->first_name }} {{ $comment->owner->last_name }}</a> </span>{{ $comment->body }} </p> <!-- Show when the user posted comments--> <div class="com-details"> <div class="com-time-container"> {{ $comment->created_at->diffForHumans() }} · </div> </div> </div><!--user-comment end--> </div><!--user-comment-box end--> @endforeach @endif <!--type box--> <div class="type-comment"> <div class="type-box"> {{ Form::open(['data-remote', 'route' => ['commentPost', $id], 'class' => 'comments_create-form']) }} {{ Form::hidden('user_id', $currentUser->id) }} {{ Form::hidden($idType, $id) }} {{--{{ Form::hidden('user_id', $currentUser->id) }}--}} {{ Form::textarea('body', null, ['class' =>'type-box d-light-solid-bg', 'placeholder' => 'Write a comment...', 'rows' => '1']) }} {{ Form::close() }} </div><!--type-box end--> </div><!--type-comment--> </div><!--comment-box end--> The user submit the form for the comment type box by pressing the "enter/return" key. Here is the JS for that <script> $(document).on('keydown', '.comments_create-form', function(e) { if (e.keyCode == 13) { e.preventDefault(); $(this).submit(); } }); </script> Here is my Ajax (function(){ $(document).on('submit', 'form[data-remote]', function(e){ e.preventDefault(); var form = $(this) var target = form.closest('div.ajax-refresh'); var method = form.find('input[name="_method"]').val() || 'POST'; var url = form.prop('action'); $.ajax({ type: method, url: url, data: form.serialize(), success: function(data) { var tmp = $('<div>'); tmp.html(data); target.html( tmp.find('.ajax-refresh').html() ); target.find('.type-box').html( tmp.find('.type-box').html() ); tmp.destroy(); } }); }); })(); When I post a comment on the first post it all works fine. However, when I post a comment on the second, third, fourth etc it only displays the comments from the first post. I have to manually refresh the page, then the correct comments will display. I'll try to illustrate this problem with images. Starting fresh, I can easily submit 2 comments on POST 1 http://s27.postimg.org/6ej76hunn/comment1.jpg When I scroll down to Post 2, I see it already has a comment, I will submit a new comment http://s23.postimg.org/x65ui2ryz/comment_2.jpg HERE'S THE PROBLEM: When I submit the comment on POST 2, the comments that were in POST 2 disappears, and are replaced by the comments from POST 1. http://s30.postimg.org/ugl08oz01/comment_3.jpg The back end still worked, because when I reload the page everything is the way it should be http://s9.postimg.org/w51fgyzen/comment_4.jpg I'm completely stuck. Does anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it?
  18. I am stumped. I have a database similar to this: | Class Number | Class Name | Class Date | 0001 MATH 1/1/2016 0002 SCIENCE 2/1/2016 0003 HISTORY 3/1/2016 I am calling all classes where the date is > current date. All matching classes are then put into a html dropdown box. I would now like to populate two additional fields with the class number and class date based on the selection of the dropdown. I know I'll need to use AJAX, but I am a little stumped on how to get started. My first problem is that I have the beginning of the html select tag before: while($row = $result->fetch_assoc()){ and the end select tag after the }, so I can't put the two additional form fields in the loop. Any tips on where to go from here? Here's what I have so far: <?php // Get required login info include "/secret/path/to/login.php"; $db = new mysqli('localhost', $username, $password, $database); // Connect to DB using required login info if($db->connect_errno > 0){ die('Unable to connect to database [' . $db->connect_error . ']'); } unset($username);// put these variables back to null unset($password);// put these variables back to null unset($database);// put these variables back to null date_default_timezone_set('America/Los_Angeles'); // set default time zone PST $sql = "SELECT * FROM ft_form_7 WHERE class_full != 'Class Full' AND class_start_date > CURRENT_DATE()"; $result = $db->query($sql); if(!$result = $db->query($sql)){ die('There was an error running the query [' . $db->error . ']';} // show error if necessary if(mysqli_num_rows($result) < 1) { (include "/path/to/get-classes-for-registration-no-classes.php"); } echo '<select name="class_drop_down">'; // opens the dropdown box while($row = $result->fetch_assoc()){ echo '<option value="'.$row['class_name'].'">'.$row['class_name'].'</option>'; } echo '</select>'; $db->close(); $result->free(); ?>
  19. I want to be able to check whether values exist in the php array without having to click the submit button to do those checks using jquery/ajax. when users enter an abbreviation in the text field want to be able to show that the brand exists (either vw or tyta) or not (as they type in the input box) and show the results in the carnamestatus div. I was following a tutorial from youtube, however it queried against a mysql database. I was wondering if this is possible using php arrays instead of mysql? I would be grateful if you could pick any faults in the code. The jquery is in the head section. the rest of the code is as follows: <?php $car = array() $car["vw"] = array( "name" => "volkswagen"); $car["tyta"] = array( "name => "toyota"); ?> the html code is as follows: <label for="carname">Car Code:</label> <input type="text" onblur="checkcar()" value="" id="carname" /> <div id="carnamestatus"></div> the checkcar() function checkcar(){ var u = _("carname").value; if(u != ""){ _("carname").innerHTML = 'checking ...'; var B = new XMLHttpRequest(); B.open("POST","check.php",true); / B.setRequestHeader("Content-type", "application/x-www-form-urlencoded"); B.onreadystatechange = function() { if(B.readyState==4 && B.status== 200) { _("carnamestatus").innerHTML = B.responseText; } } var v = "carnamecheck="+u; B.send(v); } } </script>
  20. Hi all, I need some guidance on how I can build an AJAX/PHP chat application, sort of like an instant messaging thing like the one on Facebook. It doesn't have to be anything fancy as long as it works. I have some ideas as to how I can build it but I've never tried to do anything like this before so I'm a bit lost. I'm confident I can build the entire PHP side of things up until I have to use AJAX, then I'm stuck. The main concern I have is the affect it will have on the server, lets say I have a Javascript timer to check for new messages sent at certain intervals, wouldn't that have a massive affect on the server? I can only think of using a timer to get new messages for each user, I can't come up with any other way to get it to work. I just don't want to kill the server with AJAX requests if that's even possible. So really my question is, would it be okay to use a timer to get new messages of each user at certain intervals, or is there another way of doing it? Hope this makes sense Thanks, Adam
  21. his is my code for a simple catalog store (no cart and checkout), a listing page that will change the items depending on the category (or subcategory). This is my db structure: prod_id Primary bigint(20) AUTO_INCREMENT user_id int(11) cat_id int(11) subcat_id int(11) prod_titulo varchar(250) prod_descripcion varchar(250) The file that is currently listing all the products (store.php) has this script: $(document).ready(function(){ $('#listing_store').empty(); $.ajax({ url: 'store-app/db_query.php', type: 'GET', dataType: 'json', //data: , success: function(data){ for (var i = 0; i < data.length; i++) { var dataHtml = '' + '<div class="col-xs-6 col-md-4 column productbox">' + '<a href="detail.php#' + + data[i].id +'">' + '</a>' + '<div class="product-info">' + ' <div class="product-title"><a href="detalle_producto.php#' + + data[i].id +'">' + data[i].titulo + '</a></div>' + '<div class="product-price">' + '<div class="pull-right"><a href="detalle_producto.php#' + + data[i].id +'" class="btn btn-info btn-sm" role="button">Ver</a></div>' + '<div class="pricetext">$'+ data[i].precio + '</div></div>' + '</div>' + '</div>' $('#listing_store').append(dataHtml); } } }); }); As a result i have the product listed in the listing page. the anchor link for the products to the detail page (detail.php): <a href="detail.php#' + + data[i].id +'"></a> This is the script i have in the detail.php page: $(document).ready(function() { if(window.location.hash){ var id = window.location.hash.substring(1); $('#title').html('cargando...'); $('#desc').html('cargando...'); } LoadProduct(id); }); function LoadProduct(id){ $.ajax({ url: 'store-app/db_query.php', type: 'POST', dataType: 'json', data: { "q": id, }, }).done(function(aviso){ var id = aviso.id; $('#title').html(aviso.titulo); $('#desc').html(aviso.descripcion); }); } }); The product loads ok but the url is mysite/detail.php#1 -> prod_id Finally, the db query file (db_query.php): $sql = mysqli_query($dbc, "SELECT * FROM tienda_prod WHERE prod_activo ='1' ORDER BY prod_fechacreado DESC"); $results = array(); while($row = mysqli_fetch_array($sql, MYSQLI_ASSOC)){ $results[] = array( 'id' => $row["prod_id"], // or smth like $row["video_title"] for title 'user' => $row["user_id"], 'categoria' => $row["cat_id"], 'subcategoria' => $row["subcat_id"], 'titulo' => $row["prod_titulo"], 'descripcion' => $row["prod_descripcion"], ); } header('Content-Type: application/json'); if (isset($_REQUEST["q"])) { $busqueda = $_REQUEST["q"]; $clave = array_search( $busqueda , array_column($results, 'id') ); echo json_encode( $results[ $clave ] ); } else { echo json_encode( $results ); } What can i do to change product url's to be more friendly/clean: mystore.com/detail.php#1 to mystore.com/(category or subcategory name)/(product title + id) Ex. mystore.com/electric-guitars/fender-telecaster-1 Aclaration: I have other two tables in the db for subcategories and categorias, both with id and name, the product table has both category and subcategory id.
  22. I'm having an issue related to creating forms within a foreach loop. As of now, I have 3 forms in a div, each with their own datepicker instance and submit button ( also using a hidden input for the pageID) The datepickers are unique and working independently, but when it comes to posting the data via ajax and handling it in a php script, It's not inserting data into my db because the names of my two inputs are not unique. I don't really know how to make them unique on the form and then handle those unique names back in the script. Only one form will be submitted at a time so I'm trying to make it to where the user can click on any of these datepickers, select a date and submit, and the ajax will handle only the page ID and the datepicker value for that form submitted and the PHP script will then insert. The sql in my php script works but my POST variables are where I'm having the issue here. Any help is much appreciated. <?php foreach($expiredPages as $expiredPage): ?> <form id="updateTime_<?php echo $expiredPage['id']?>" class="updateTime" method="POST"> <input type="hidden" name="currentPageID<?php echo $expiredPage['id']?>" value="<?php echo $expiredPage['id']?>"> <div class="datepick input-group date" id="datetimepicker_<?php echo $expiredPage['id']?>" data-target-input="nearest"> <input type="text" class="form-control datetimepicker-input" data-target="#datetimepicker_<?php echo $expiredPage['id']?>" name="datePicker<?php echo $expiredPage['id']?>" /> <span class="input-group-addon" data-target="#datetimepicker_<?php echo $expiredPage['id']?>" data-toggle="datetimepicker"> <span class="fa fa-calendar"></span> </span> </div> <input type="submit" name="Extend Date" class="extendDate"> </form> <?php endforeach; ?> <script type="text/javascript"> $(".extendDate").click(function(){ event.preventDefault(); var string = $('.updateTime').serialize(); console.log(string); // AJAX Code To Submit Form. $.ajax({ type: "POST", url: "extendTime.php", data: string, dataType: 'json', cache: false, success: function(response){ location.reload(); } }); }); </script> extendTime.php $pageID = $_POST['currentPageID']; $newTime = $_POST[$dtPick]; $newEndTime = DateTime::createFromFormat('m/d/Y h:i A', $newTime); $convertedDateTime = $newEndTime->format('Y-m-d H:i:s'); $extendExpiration = " UPDATE pages SET end_time = '$convertedDateTime' WHERE id = '$pageID'; "; if($mysqlConn->query($extendExpiration)=== TRUE){ echo "SUCCESS"; }else{ echo "Could not extend Time"; }
