I have this js code that works great. Now the new option I would like to add is the "days". Right now it's only based on hours, mins, seconds. I am retriving records from mysql database that has expiry time limit. The time in the database is saved in "minutes". So for one hour, it'll be "3600" minutes. That's all fine. Now what I am trying to do is create a countdown clock using Javascript/jquery and I have ran into a bit of a problem. 1. I am retriving multiple records from the database that all have a countdown timer. Currently, it's only taking the time value of the first record and using that for all the records. I would like to know how I can make it so that each record will have it's own countdown timer value? 2. Everytime I refresh a page, it will reset the timer. How can I fix this? I have created a countdown clock that will be counting down from 100 (looping each second). This is the code: <script> $(document).ready(function(){ $("#buttonClick").on('click', function(){ var initialValue = $("#countdown").text(); setInterval(function () { initialValue--; $("#countdown").text(initialValue); }, 1000); }); }); </script> <body> <button id="buttonClick">Click Me</button> <div id="countdown">100</div> </body> When i click the "Click Me" button the number counts down from 100, 99, 98,97.... When try this from a mobile device and while the device is awake, it works just fine. Lets say the counter is on 50 and i press the power button of the mobile device and it sleeps. If i wake the mobile after 40 seconds, i will not see the remaining 10 seconds but something like 40 or 38 seconds. This happens every time and i don't know why. Can someone help? Regards, Christos

Hey Guys ! i'm not sure if i posted my topic in the right side anyway .. i have a countdown.js file everything is OK , but the big problem is the countdown not working at all ,( Days , Hours ,Min , Sec) all of this keeps in zero but the count UP work normal this is the source code : http://jsfiddle.net/NdfPR/2/ in line 29 and 30 until: new Date(2014, 4 - 1, 4, 0, 0, 0), since: null, nothing happen with this code but if i changed to this until: null, since: new Date(2014, 4 - 1, 4, 0, 0, 0), the count up will work and i don't count up ,, this js file is linked to my template so if there's anything to solve this problem ,, i'm here if i forget anything to
