  1. Is there a better way to do this? $p = 3; $a = 3; $b = 3; $arr = [$p,$a,$b]; if (in_array(0, $arr)) { return 'Pending'; } if ((in_array(2, $arr)) && !in_array(0, $arr)) { return 'Incomplete'; } if ((in_array(1, $arr)) && !in_array(0, $arr) && !in_array(1, $arr)) { return 'Approved'; } if (in_array(3, $arr) && !in_array(0, $arr) && !in_array(1, $arr) && !in_array(2, $arr)) { return 'Declined'; }
  2. Hi all, I need your help. I am working on a function to add the day value that start from 0 to 6. I want to count it up the value for each day so I can connect to each url for each day, but on my code it will only show the value as 0 for each day. Here is the code: <?php $channels = json_decode(file_get_contents('channels.json'), true); $day = 0; function get_shows($channel_id, DateTime $dt, $duration=1440, $skip_finished = true) { $url = 'http://example.comapi/GS?cid=' . $channel_id . '&offset=+00.00&day=' .$day++; echo $url; $day++; } if(!isset($_GET['id']) || !isset($channels[$_GET['id']])) { } else { // today + 6 following days for($day=0; $day<=6; $day++) { // display date echo '<h3>', $dt->format('Y-m-d (l)'), '</h3>'; // display shows foreach(get_shows($channel_id, $dt, $duration) as $show) { } $dt->add(new DateInterval('P1D')); $dt->setTime(0, 0, 0); } } ?> Output: Here is what I want to achieve: Can you please show me an example how I can add the value up for each day that start from 0 to 6 when I am calling on get_show function??
  3. i'm trying to make a notification tab work but do not seem to get it right. The dropdown is working fine but the ajax call to newfriends.php is not working right, when viewed with firebug there are no results to be seen in the dropdown.Quite confusing. (note the dropdown menu is located in header and can only be displayed if the session is initialised) here is the ajax used in jquery: function load_notifications(view=''){ $.ajax({ url: "notification/new_friends.php", method: "POST", data:{view:"view"}, dataType:"json", success: function(data){ $(".dropdown-menu").html(data.notification); if(data.unseen_notification>0){ $(".badge1").html(data.unseen_notification); } } }); //$(".dynamic-notification").load("notification/pm_n.php"); // $(".dynamic-notification-f").load("notification/new_friends.php"); }; load_notifications(); $(document).on("click",".count_friend", function(){ load_notifications('yes'); }); //loads every 2 seconds for chat setInterval(function(){load_notifications();},2000); here is the new_friends.php content: <?php include '../includes/dbconfig.inc.php'; if (isset($_POST['view'])) { if($_POST['view'] !=''){ $update="update friends set count='1' where friend_one=:session and count='0'"; $stmt=$conn->prepare($update); $stmt->bindValue(":session", $_SESSION['uname']); $stmt->execute(); } $sql123="select id from friends where friend_two=:sess_uname and count='0'"; $stmt123=$conn->prepare($sql123); $stmt123->bindValue(":sess_uname", $_SESSION['uname']); $stmt123->execute(); $request_count=$stmt123->fetchColumn(); //$count_friend=$stmt123->rowCount(); /*$sql_f_count="select *from user where user_id=:session_id and activated='1' limit 1"; $stmt_f_count=$conn->prepare($sql_f_count); $stmt_f_count->bindValue(":session_id", $_SESSION['id']); $stmt_f_count->execute(); $user_details=$stmt_f_count->fetchAll(); $friend_badge=$user_details[0]['friend_count_badge'];*/ require "notification/friend_request_notification.php"; // $new_friends="<span class='dropdown'><a href='#' data-placement='bottom' class='btn dropdown-toggle' data-toggle='dropdown' title='Friend Requests' data-html='true'><span class='count_friend' style=' height:33px; width:30px;'><span class='badge1 label label-pill'>".$count."</span><img src='img/logo/group-button-white.png' style='height:25px; width:27px;' alt='new_friends_alert'></span></a><ul class='dropdown-menu'></ul></span>"; //if($request_count[0]>0){ //$new_friends="<a href='#' data-placement='bottom' class='btn' data-trigger='focus' title='Friend Requests' data-toggle='popover' data-html='true' data-content='".$friend_requests."'><span class='count_friend' style=' height:33px; width:30px;'><img src='img/logo/group-button-white.png' style='height:25px; width:27px;' alt='new_friends_alert'></span><span class='badge'>".$friend_badge."</span></a>"; /*}else{ $new_friends="<a href='all_notifications.php'><img src='img/logo/group-button-black.png' style='height:25px; width:27px;' alt='new_friends_alert'></a>"; }*/ //echo $new_friends; //} $data=array( 'notification'=>$friend_requests, 'unseen_notification' =>$request_count[0][0] ); and the code for friend requests output: <?php //error_reporting(0); require_once 'includes/dbconfig.inc.php'; $sql = "select * from friends where friend_two=:session and accepted='0' order by friends_date_made asc"; $stmt = $conn->prepare($sql); $stmt->bindparam(":session", $_SESSION['uname']); $stmt->execute(); $numrows = $stmt->fetchAll(PDO::FETCH_ASSOC); $friend_requests=""; if ($numrows < 1) { $friend_requests = "You do not have any friend requests"; echo "$friend_requests"; exit(); } else { foreach ($numrows as $i=>$row1 ) { $reqid = $row1['friend_id']; $user1 = $row1['friend_one']; $datemade = $row1['friends_date_made']; $datemade1 = strftime("%B %d, %y", strtotime($datemade)); $sql = "SELECT * FROM user WHERE uname=:user1 LIMIT 1"; $stmt = $conn->prepare($sql); $stmt->bindparam(":user1", $user1); $stmt->execute(); $thumbrow = $stmt->fetchAll(PDO::FETCH_ASSOC); $user1avatar = $thumbrow[$i]['avatar']; $user1id=$thumbrow[$i]['user_id']; if ($user1avatar =="") { $user1pic = '<img src="img/avatardefault.png" height="50" style="float:left;" width="50" alt="'.$user1.'" class="user_pic">'; } else { $user1pic = '<img src="../user/user/'.$user1id.'/'.$user1avatar.'" height="50" style="float:left;" width="50" alt="'.$user1.'" class="user_pic">'; } $friend_requests .= '<li><div id="'.$reqid.'" float="right" class="friendrequests"> <a href="home.php?u='.$user1.'">'. $user1pic .'</a> <div class="user_info '.$reqid.'" id="'.$reqid.'"><small>' . $datemade1 .   5. Hi, I am running the PHP server on my laptop. So, far I am able to create a zip file and extract too, but when i extract i gave path to my c:/ folder.The issue is it extracts to the C:/ folder on my laptop where the php server is running and if a user extracts from a different machine I don't think it will extract to the client C:/folder or does it ? or is there any other way to specify the client path ? Also client can use linux system then i cannot use this path. So, I would like to know is there any way to achieve this ? Note: I have multiple CSV files which i have zipped and It is a must that I have to extract and provide the files to the user. Thanks.

I have tried most of the imdb plugins that are out there but to my dismay they don't hit the mark for me. I have also tried coding a plugin myself but I am dreadful as I know nothing about plugin development or scrapers or python, so I'm fked lol need loads of help but am also willing to pay for some ones services. Thanks in advance

  9. I currently have an array that I've built that dumps like this: 0 => array:11 [▼ "category_code" => "123" "category_name" => "Testing" "category_description" => "This is a test category" 19738 => array:5 [▼ "identifier" => "720368842943" "description" => Test Description One "count" => 4 "details" => array:2 [▼ 0 => array:3 [▼ "detail_code" => "2751" "detail_code2" => "43" "detail_specifier" => "Detail One" ] 1 => array:3 [▼ "detail_code" => "2681" "detail_code2" => "9" "detail_specifier" => "Detail Two" ] ] "prices" => array:1 [▼ "01" => "1129.00" ] ] 19739 => array:5 [▼ "identifier" => "720368844121" "description" => "Test Description Two" "count" => 4 "details" => array:2 [▼ 0 => array:3 [▼ "detail_code" => "2751" "detail_code2" => "43" "detail_specifier" => "Detail One" ] 1 => array:3 [▼ "detail_code" => "2681" "detail_code2" => "9" "detail_specifier" => "Detail Two" ] ] "prices" => array:1 [▼ "01" => "1490.00" ] ] I'm using laravel excel in order to export that as an excel file, but it's not quite working the way I intend When it exports to excel I only get the top level info: 123 | Testing | This is a test category But I want to get that info as a header and then each subsequent product for that category as a row, so with the example above it would look like: 123 | Testing | This is a test category ==================================================================================================================== 19738 | 720368842943 | Test Description One | 4 | 2751 | 43 | Detail One | 2681 | 9 | Detail Two | 1129.00 19739 | 720368844121 | Test Description Two | 4 | 2751 | 43 | Detail One | 2681 | 9 | Detail Two | 1490.00 Here's the excel code with the array I'm using, which is dumped above: $allCategoryResult= array(); foreach($prices->categories as $category){ $categoryItem = array(); $categoryItem["category_code"] = $category->category_code; $categoryItem["category_name"] = $category->category_name; $categoryItem["category_desc"] = $category->category_desc; foreach($category->skus as $sku){ $skuItem = array(); $skuItem["identifier"] = $sku->sku_info->identifier; $skuItem["description"] = $sku->sku_info->item->description; $skuItem["count"] = $sku->sku_info->item->item_type->count; $skuItem["details"] = array(); foreach ($sku->sku_info->details as $details) { $detailsItem = array(); $detailsItem["detail_code"] = $details->detail_code; $detailsItem["detail_code2"] = $details->detail_code2; $detailsItem["detail_specifier"] = $details->detail_specifier; $skuItem["details"][] = $detailsItem; } $skuItem["prices"] = get_object_vars($sku->prices); $itemCode = $sku->sku_info->item->item_code; $categoryItem[$itemCode] = $skuItem; } $allCategoryResult[] = $categoryItem; } $name = 'Test Export'; $build = Excel::create($name, function ($excel) use ($allCategoryResult) { $excel->setTitle('Test Export'); $excel->sheet('Test Export', function ($sheet) use ($allCategoryResult) { $sheet->fromArray($allCategoryResult);
  10. I have a php script that I've been running that seems to have been working but now I'm wondering if some of my logic is potentially off. I select records from a db table within a date range which I put into an array called ```$validCount``` If that array is not empty, that means I have valid records to update with my values, and if it's empty I just insert. The trick with the insert is that if the ```STORES``` is less than the ```Quantity``` then it only inserts as many as the ```STORES``` otherwise it inserts as many as ```Quantity```. So if a record being inserted with had Stores: 14 Quantity:12 Then it would only insert 12 records but if it had Stores:1 Quantity:20 It would only insert 1 record. In short, for each customer I should only ever have as many valid records (within a valid date range) as they have stores. If they have 20 stores, I can have 1 or 2 records but should never have 30. It seems like updating works fine but I'm not sure if it's updating the proper records, though it seems like in some instances it's just inserting too many and not accounting for past updated records. This is the logic I have been working with: if(!empty($validCount)){ for($i=0; $i<$row2['QUANTITY']; $i++){ try{ $updateRslt = $update->execute($updateParams); }catch(PDOException $ex){ $out[] = $failedUpdate; } } }else{ if($row2["QUANTITY"] >= $row2["STORES"]){ for($i=0; $i<$row2["STORES"]; $i++){ try{ $insertRslt = $insert->execute($insertParams); }catch(PDOException $ex){ $out[] = $failedInsertStore; } } }elseif($row2["QUANTITY"] < $row2["STORES"]){ for($i=0; $i<$row2["QUANTITY"]; $i++){ try{ $insertRslt = $insert->execute($insertParams); }catch(PDOException $ex){ $out[] = $failedInsertQuantity; } } } } Let's say customer 123 bought 4 of product A and they have 10 locations customerNumber | product | category | startDate | expireDate | stores ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 123 1 A 2018-08-01 2019-03-01 10 123 1 A 2018-08-01 2019-03-01 10 123 1 A 2018-08-01 2019-03-01 10 123 1 A 2018-08-01 2019-03-01 10 Because they purchased less than their store count, I insert 4 records. Now if my ```$validCheck``` query selects all 4 of those records (since they fall in a valid date range) and my loop sees that the array isn't empty, it knows it needs to update those or insert. Let's say they bought 15 this time. Then I would need to insert 6 records, and then update the expiration date of the other 9 records. customerNumber | product | category | startDate | expireDate | stores ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 123 1 A 2018-08-01 2019-03-11 10 123 1 A 2018-08-01 2019-03-11 10 123 1 A 2018-08-01 2019-03-11 10 123 1 A 2018-08-01 2019-03-11 10 123 1 A 2018-08-01 2019-03-11 10 123 1 A 2018-08-01 2019-03-11 10 123 1 A 2018-08-01 2019-03-11 10 123 1 A 2018-08-01 2019-03-11 10 123 1 A 2018-08-01 2019-03-11 10 123 1 A 2018-08-01 2019-03-11 10 There can only ever be a maximum of 10 (store count) records for that customer and product within the valid date range. As soon as the row count for that customer/product reaches the equivalent of stores, it needs to now go through and update equal to the quantity so now I'm running this but it's not running and no errors, but it just returns back to the command line $total = $row2['QUANTITY'] + $validCheck; if ($total < $row2['STORES']) { $insert_count = $row2['QUANTITY']; $update_count = 0; } else { $insert_count = $row2['STORES'] - $validCheck; // insert enough to fill all stores $update_count = ($total - $insert_count); // update remainder } for($i=0; $i<$row2['QUANTITY']; $i++){ try{ $updateRslt = $update->execute($updateParams); }catch(PDOException $ex){ $failedUpdate = "UPDATE_FAILED"; print_r($failedUpdate); $out[] = $failedUpdate; } } for($i=0; $i<$insert_count; $i++){ try{ $insertRslt = $insert->execute($insertParams); }catch(PDOException $ex){ $failedInsertStore = "INSERT_STORE_FAILED!!!: " . $ex->getMessage(); print_r($failedInsertStore); $out[] = $failedInsertStore; } }```
  11. I'm using WordPress and Tribe's Event Calendar and Event ticket plus plugins. Their website is http://theeventscalendar.co.uk. I've been using their forums but it's taking a while to sort this out, so though someone on here might be able to help. I've got an array that I need to echo out part of. Inside each key (0, 1, 2, 3 and so on) there are numerous parts like ["ID"], ["name"] and so on. I want to echo out the ["name"] part of the key. I have a var dump for 10 keys in the array, each of which have their own ["name"] set. In the situation I'm using it, it will always have just 1 in the array, so I can target the first key in the array. Any ideas please on how to echo the ["name"] part? I have left a var dump of the array below. array(10) { [0]=> object(Tribe__Tickets__Ticket_Object)#4474 (20) { ["ID"]=> int(405) ["name"]=> string(16) "2 day sssts kent" ["description"]=> string(0) "" 14. Hey guys, i am trying to create a contact form that by passes the page refresh and uses Jquery and Ajax to direct to a php file server side. So far i have everything work fine. until the final part where i pass the json data type into PHP and look to catch an error, success, or completion value. Currently i have an error coming back with the following: SyntaxError: Unexpected token < error due to a parsererror condition I do not see any errors in the console of of chrome, and i have no idea why i am getting this syntax error. These does not seem to be any conflicting data going into the json or out to php. really been stuck on this for a day now This is my .js file $(document).ready(function(){ $('form #alertMessage').hide(); $('#submit').click(function(e){ e.preventDefault(); var valid = ''; var name = $('form #name').val(); var email = $('form #email').val(); var subject = $('form #subject').val(); var message = $('form #message').val(); var honeypot = $('form #honeypot').val(); var humancheck = $('form #humancheck').val(); if(name = '' || name.length <= 5 ){ valid += '<p>Sorry, Your name is required!</p> '; } if(!email.match( /^([a-z0-9._-]+@[a-z0-9._-]+\.[a-z]{2,4}$)/ )){ valid += '<p>A Valid Email is required</p> '; } if(subject = '' || subject.length <= 2 ){ valid += '<p>A Valid name is required</p> '; } if(message = '' || message.length <= 5 ){ valid += '<p>A brief description of you is required.</p> '; } if(honeypot != 'http://'){ valid += '<p>Sorry spambots not allowed.</p> '; } if(humancheck != ''){ valid += '<p>Sorry only humans allowed past this point.</p> '; } if(valid != ""){ $('form #alertMessage').removeClass().addClass('error') .html('<br><br>' + valid).fadeIn('fast') }else{ $('form #alertMessage').removeClass().addClass('processing') .html('<br><br>We are processing your form now...').fadeIn('fast') var formData = $('form').serialize(); submitForm(formData); } }); }); function submitForm(formData){ $.ajax({ type: 'POST', url: 'feedback.php', data: formData, dataType: 'json', cache: false, timeout: 7000, success: function(data){ $('form #alertMessage').removeClass().addClass((data.error === true) ? 15. I have a login session where it checks the user name and displays it to the form (it displays FirstName LastName). That username is also being used as a variable to pull up data in db. Now I also have another page where user's can update the db, I dont have a problem if the user will update it with a complete FirstName LastName entry because it will just be the same as the one's being used by the login session, but sometimes they just update it with FirstName. The problem starts when I have values in TEST db under Tester column and in USERS db under User column that is of different values. It would have two diff values when a user did not enter the full FirstName LastName. For example, FirstName1 LastName1 is the value in USERS db User column - this is fixed and is being used in a login session User updated Tester column in TEST db with just FirstName1 - this is different from the User column above Here is what I am trying to do, Getting list of tickets from the TEST db where datefrom and dateto and using a variable for the values that is in User column under USER DB If User column under USERS db = Tester column under Test db which is FirstName1 LastName1 - it will be good as I will be able to get tickets under FirstName1 LastName1. But I will not be able to get ticket which is still assigned to that same person because the value in Tester column under Test db is just FirstName1. If User column under USERS db (FirstName1 LastName1) is not equal to Tester column under Test db which is just FirstName1 - I will not get tickets assigned to FirstName1 as my variable is equal to FirstName1 LastName1. I hope that I explained it clearly, here is my code, Here is the variable that I am posting, $uid = false; if(isset($_POST['uid'])){ $uid = $_POST['uid']; } And here is the query, $sql = 'SELECT `id`, `date_implemented`, `tester`, `comments` FROM `tracker` WHERE `tester` = :uid AND `scheduled_start_date` BETWEEN :d1 AND :d2'; $stmt = $conn->prepare($sql); $stmt->bindParam(':uid', $uid, PDO::PARAM_STR); $stmt->bindParam(':d1', $date['from'], PDO::PARAM_STR); $stmt->bindParam(':d2', $date['to'], PDO::PARAM_STR); $stmt->execute(); $result = $stmt->fetchAll(PDO::FETCH_ASSOC); I would need help in passing that variable (uid) such that I can use `WHERE tester LIKE uid`. In that case whether the tester column just contains FIRSTNAME1 or a complete FIRSTNAME1 LASTNAME1, I would be able to get all tickets assigned to FIRSTNAME1.
  16. Hi all, The following code was working fine up until 1 hour ago and now fails to execute the PHP function call or anything within isset($_POST The JavaScript works successfully but I had to change the order in which form onsubmit and form action were called.   18. I'm running the below script using PDO, and I've finally gotten all of the logic working the way I need it to, I believe. However, it seems to be taking forever, mainly with updates. The logic is a bit redundant by nature, due to my constraints with the data structure but I feel like it could still be optimized a bit. The idea is to look at invoices and gather a list of items compared to store fronts for each customer. The logic I have says "If this order for customer A has item X and there already exists a record for Item x with this customer, and the record is 'expired', insert this record. However, if the record exists and we are still within the expiration date, just update. IF no record exists, insert as well". It also does the inserts based on quantity or storefront count, depending on which is greater. This works perfectly well, but now I have the issue of speed and extra redundancy. If Customer A has 10 stores orders 10 of Item X today and it's their first order, I'll insert 10 records, one for each item per storefront. But if they order 10 more in 2 days, and the day after and the day after......etc. The script updates as it should but the way I have it, it's selecting so many records at that point to check for unexpired records to update. Part of the issue is that for every record,I have to run the select query to check for existing records. Otherwise, if I do an initial select and the records in question are back to back, it will just insert thinking that it doesn't exist. There has to be a much cleaner, better and more efficient way to do this but I feel like I'm in over my head $detailStatCheck = " SELECT invnoc as INVOICE, fstatc as STATUS, cstnoc AS DEALER, framec AS FRAME, covr1c AS COVER, colr1c AS COLOR , extd2d AS SHIPDATE, orqtyc AS QUANTITY, case when p.stores is null then 1 else p.stores end as STORES FROM table1 g left join table2 p on g.cstnoc = p.cstno WHERE fstatc in ('S','O') AND date(substr(extd1d,1,4)||'-'||substr(EXTD1d,5,2)||'-'||substr(EXTD1d,7,2) ) between current_Date - 451 DAY AND current_Date order by date(substr(extd1d,1,4)||'-'||substr(EXTD1d,5,2)||'-'||substr(EXTD1d,7,2) ) asc, invnoc asc "; try { $detailCheck = $DB2conn->prepare($detailStatCheck); $detailRslt = $detailCheck->execute(); $count2 = $detailCheck->fetch(); print_r($count2); }catch(PDOException $ex) { echo "QUERY ONE FAILED!: " .$ex->getMessage(); } //Create prepared INSERT statement $insertPlacement = " INSERT ignore INTO dealerplacetest (sku_id, group_id, dealer_id, start_date, expire_date, locations, /*order_num,*/ quantity) SELECT id, sku_group_id, :DEALER, date_add(convert(:SHIPDATE,date), interval 7 day) as start_date, date_add(convert(:SHIPDATE,date), interval 127 day) as expire_date, :STORES, -- :INVOICE, :QUANTITY FROM skus s WHERE s.frame=:FRAME AND s.cover1=:COVER AND s.color1=:COLOR "; //perpare query to check for existing records that are expired $validCheck = " SELECT sku_id, dealer_id, expire_date FROM dealerplacetest p INNER JOIN skus s ON p.sku_id = s.id WHERE p.dealer_id = :DEALER AND s.frame = :FRAME AND s.cover1 = :COVER AND s.color1 = :COLOR AND p.expire_date > date_add(convert(:SHIPDATE,date), interval 7 day) "; $updatePlacement = " UPDATE dealerplacetest d inner join skus s ON d.sku_id = s.id SET expire_date = DATE_ADD(DATE_FORMAT(CONVERT(:SHIPDATE, CHAR(20)), '%Y-%m-%d'),INTERVAL 127 DAY), quantity = :QUANTITY WHERE d.dealer_id = :DEALER AND s.frame = :FRAME AND s.cover1 = :COVER AND s.color1 = :COLOR "; $checkExistingValid = $MysqlConn->prepare($validCheck); $insert = $MysqlConn->prepare($insertPlacement); $update = $MysqlConn->prepare($updatePlacement); while ($row2 = $detailCheck->fetch(PDO::FETCH_ASSOC)) { $values = [ ":DEALER" => $row2["DEALER"], ":SHIPDATE" => $row2["SHIPDATE"], ":STORES" => $row2["STORES"], ":QUANTITY" => $row2["QUANTITY"], ":INVOICE" => $row2["INVOICE"], ":FRAME" => $row2["FRAME"], ":COVER" => $row2["COVER"], ":COLOR" => $row2["COLOR"], ]; $values2 = [ ":DEALER" => $row2["DEALER"], ":FRAME" => $row2["FRAME"], ":COVER" => $row2["COVER"], ":COLOR" => $row2["COLOR"], ":SHIPDATE" => $row2["SHIPDATE"], ]; $values3 = [ ":SHIPDATE" => $row2["SHIPDATE"], ":QUANTITY" => $row2["QUANTITY"], ":DEALER" => $row2["DEALER"], ":FRAME" => $row2["FRAME"], ":COVER" => $row2["COVER"], ":COLOR" => $row2["COLOR"], ]; try{ $existingVldRslt = $checkExistingValid->execute($values2); $count4 = $checkExistingValid->fetch(PDO::FETCH_ASSOC); }catch(PDOException $ex){ echo "QUERY TWO FAILED!!!: " . $ex->getMessage(); } print_r($count4); if(!empty($count4) /*&& empty($count3)*/){ print_r("updating"); for($i=0; $i<$row2['QUANTITY']; $i++){ try{ $updateRslt = $update->execute($values3); }catch(PDOException $ex){ echo "UPDATE_FAILED!!!: " . $ex->getMessage(); } } }else{ print_r("inserting"); if($row2["QUANTITY"] >= $row2["STORES"]){ for($i=0; $i<$row2["STORES"]; $i++){ try{ $insertRslt = $insert->execute($values); }catch(PDOException $ex){ echo "INSERT_FAILED!!!: " . $ex->getMessage(); } } }elseif($row2["QUANTITY"] < $row2["STORES"]){ for($i=0; $i<$row2["QUANTITY"]; $i++){ try{ $insertRslt = $insert->execute($values); }catch(PDOException $ex){ echo "INSERT_FAILED!!!: " . $ex->getMessage(); } } } } }
  19. First let me start by saying I'm not looking to copy someone else's code but better understand where the line is drawn for people copying my own code. All developers at some point will have used others code in there own work. If you see something that inspires you, you may decided to use that code in your design. In some degree this maybe classed as fair use depending on the quantity of code you copy. Another developer may taken an entire php file, function, class, CSS sheet, HTML file and use this in there work / pass this off as there own work. This is blatant plagiarism. However what is stopping a developer from taking an entire piece of code and editing every aspect of the file to make it his own? For instance a designer my change the names of the styles and perhaps change the order of the properties and there values slightly; He may also move around parts of the html. In doing so causes the design to look different to your own but still the copying your work no the less. Another instance maybe that a PHP developer uses your entire code / software package and change the names of the variables, classes and methods; He may also change the order in which the methods appear and even change some similar functions to use alternatives such as loops. Again this causes the program to do exactly what your intends to do, however the source code will now look different to your own. How far can someone go back doing these actions? Is this legal? How best would you be able to prove it?
  20. I would like to thank everyone helping me on my previous question. This is the last question i have. Currently i have my program running but i just need to figure out how to use the get function on check boxes and text boxes. Here is the code i am using for the php mysql part of it. <?php $con=mysqli_connect("localhost","username","password","dbase"); // Check connection if (mysqli_connect_errno()) { echo "Failed to connect to MySQL: " . mysqli_connect_error(); } $sql="SELECT * from table where id = '".$_GET["id"]."' "; $rs=mysql_query($sql,$conn) or die(mysql_error()); ?> I know this is working by echoing what i needed to display. But i am in a situation where the form is extremely large and i need to display it in the what it is setup currently. Here is an example of the form <form name="standard" method="post" action="submit.php"> <table width="100%" height="1295" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0"> <tr> <td valign="top" background="../test report page/images/test form standard large2.jpg" ><table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0"> <tr> <td width="35" height="122"> </td> <td width="920"> </td> <td width="45"> </td> </tr> <tr> <td height="49"> </td> <td valign="top"><table width="100%" height="44" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0"> <tr> <td width="25%" valign="bottom"> <input name="water-purveyor" type="text" id="water-purveyor" size="25" height="25" value="<?php echo'.$result["water-purveyor"].' ?>" /></td> <td width="20%" valign="bottom"> <input type="text" name="facility-contact" id="facility-contact" height="25" value="<?php echo'.$result["facility-contact"].' ?>" /></td> <td width="55%" valign="bottom"><input type="text" name="facility-address" id="facility-address" size="50" height="25" value="<?php echo'.$result["facility-address"].' ?>" /></td> </tr> </table></td> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td width="28%" height="85" valign="bottom"><table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0"> <tr> <td colspan="2" rowspan="2"> </td> <td width="15%" height="33"><input type="checkbox" name="v1-na" id="v1-na" value="<?php echo'.$result["v1-na"].' ?>" /></td> <td width="14%"><input type="checkbox" name="v1-good" id="v1-good" value="<?php echo'.$result["v1-good"].' ?>" /></td> <td width="15%"><input type="checkbox" name="v1-poor" id="v1-poor" value="<?php echo'.$result["v1-poor"].' ?>" /></td> <td width="15%"><input type="checkbox" name="v1-fail" id="v1-fail" value="<?php echo'.$result["v1-fail"].' ?>" /></td> </tr> <tr> <td height="35" valign="top" style="padding-top:4px;"><input type="checkbox" name="v2-na" id="v2-na" value="<?php echo'.$result["v2-na"].' ?>" /></td> <td valign="top" style="padding-top:4px;"><input type="checkbox" name="v2-good" id="v2-good" value="<?php echo'.$result["v2-good"].' ?>" /></td> <td valign="top" style="padding-top:4px;"><input type="checkbox" name="v2-poor" id="v2-poor" value="<?php echo'.$result["v2-poor"].' ?>" /></td> <td valign="top" style="padding-top:4px;"><input type="checkbox" name="v2-fail" id="v2-fail" value="<?php echo'.$result["v2-fail"].' ?>" /></td> </tr> </table> </form> Can you tell me if this will work or can you give me some helpful ways to make this work. Again thank you for all your help. E

  24. Fellow Php'ers, I'm a php learner. Beginner. Very enthusiastic enough to try to build my own web proxy. See how far I have reached. The following is cURL. It shows you a ui text box where you type a url and cURL would fetch that url. 1. Now, in that fetched url, there could be links like so: <a href="http://www.google.com">Google</a> <a href="http://yahoo.com">Yahoo</a> This script is supposed to precede 'proxified_page_test.php?url_to_proxify=' on all links. So now, the links present on the proxified page (cURL fetched page) should look like this: <a href="proxified_page_test.php?url_to_proxify=http://www.google.com">Google</a> <a href="proxified_page_test.php?url_to_proxify=http://yahoo.com">Yahoo</a> 2. Also, in that fetched url, there could be a search box, like the google search box. Search box containing search box code like so ... "....action = http://google.com/q?" Again, this script is supposed to precede 'proxified_page_test.php?url_to_proxify=' on all links including on those forms that forward you to their processor.php. So now, the links present on the proxified page (cURL fetched page) should look like this: "....action = proxified_page_test.php?url_to_proxify=http://google.com/q?" That way, if you do a search on the proxified page then the SERPs presented would contain links where proxified_page_test.php?url_to_proxify= have been added. That way, if you were viewing google and doing a search, the SERPs presented would list links that precede the "proxified_page_test.php?url_to_proxify=" so that the result links can also be proxified when clicked. ISSUE Problem is, if you type "http://www.google.com" then it does not fetch that page. What is hindering the fetch ? <?php /* ERROR HANDLING */ declare(strict_types=1); ini_set('display_errors', '1'); ini_set('display_startup_errors', '1'); error_reporting(E_ALL); /* STEP 2: The IF gets triggered as soon as the "submit" button is clicked in the ui text box labeled: Url Following IF code deals with GET method. */ if(isset($_GET["url_to_proxify"]) === TRUE) { echo "IF got triggered!"; $url_to_proxify = filter_input(INPUT_GET, 'url_to_proxify', FILTER_VALIDATE_URL); $ch = curl_init(); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_URL, "$url_to_proxify"); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_FOLLOWLOCATION, TRUE); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_HEADER, 5); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_RETURNTRANSFER, TRUE); $curl_result = curl_exec($ch); $domain = parse_url($url_to_proxify, PHP_URL_HOST); echo var_dump($domain); //Add proxy link on all links present on proxified page $pattern = array("http://", "https://", "http://www.", "https://www.", "localhost"); $replace = array("proxified_page_test.php?url_to_proxify=http://\".$domain\"", "proxified_page_test.php?url_to_proxify=https://\".$domain\"", "proxified_page_test.php?url_to_proxify=http://www.\".$domain\"", "proxified_page_test.php?url_to_proxify=https://www.\".$domain\"", "proxified_page_test.php?url_to_proxify=http://www.\".$domain\""); $string_replaced_data = str_replace($pattern, $replace, $curl_result); echo var_dump($string_replaced_data); //Add proxy link on all Image Links (Eg. 25. Hey all, I'm really new to PHP and this problem has me at a loss - I've an Angular app that calls my PHP on the server to add a new entry in the database, but it doesn't ever get added. I've been trying to use a transformRequest to get what's sent to the PHP formatted correctly but I'm not too sure even that's correct. I'm getting a weird response from the PHP too - it gives me the status OK (which the PHP should only get to if it's inserted), but with an object that has the Err and its error message in it. I really could use a pointer on this one..!! my addUser.php: <?php include 'DB.php'; $db = new DB(); $tblName = 'members'; if(!empty($_POST['obj'])){ $userData = array( 'name' => $_POST['obj']['name'], 'email' => $_POST['obj']['email'], 'phone' => $_POST['obj']['phone'], 'group' => $_POST['obj']['group'] ); $insert = $db->insert($tblName,$userData); if($insert){ $data['obj'] = $insert; $data['status'] = 'OK'; $data['msg'] = 'User data has been added successfully.'; }else{ $data['status'] = 'ERR'; $data['msg'] = 'Some problem occurred, please try again.'; } }else{ $data['status'] = 'ERR'; $data['msg'] = 'Some problem occurred, please try again.'; } echo json_encode($data); exit; my app.js call: $scope.addUser = function(){ var obj = $scope.tempUserData; $http({ method: 'POST', url: 'http://localhost:8080/sns/addUser.php', data: obj, headers: { 'Content-Type': 'application/x-www-form-urlencoded' }, transformRequest:function(data) { var str =[]; for(var p in data){ str.push(encodeURIComponent(p) +"=" + encodeURIComponent(data[p])) } return str.join("&"); } }).then(function(response){ if(response.status == 'OK'){ $scope.users.push({ id:response.data.id, name:response.data.name, email:response.data.email, phone:response.data.phone, group:response.data.group }); } $scope.tempUserData = {}; }); }; Screen shot of the console with the OK status and the response object with the err message:
