Can you make a good living freelancing over the internet?

Yes you can earn good amount if you have really good projects.

 

I am doing freelancing in LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP)...........I am located in India, here it is a huge amount but I have earned around $8000 in a year.

 

You just need to make sure that you do good work, it matters a lot.

but i know a freelance woman programmer the same from india, in your country.

Sure if you were single, lived at home, had no bills... Other than that, hardly.  Unless you mean Mexico instead of New Mexico.

 

Doesn't really sounds like "a good living" to me.

 

It sounds great for extra income, but not as a primary source of income.

 

That's plenty in New Mexico.
