index.php comes up blank

I can find nothing wrong with my PHP install and I get no errors when accessing the page in question, however, when I access it the browser's title bar shows the correct page, but it's completely blank. /huh.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"huh.gif\" /]

What would cause this to happen?

There could be a number of things wrong. Could you provide the code of the page?
Well, I don't know if you are familiar with SAM Broadcaster 3 or not, but the index.php actually is a call to another page called playing.php, which in turn requires config.php and so on.

There are several interconnected pages that all work together to produce the webpage that is seen on the net.
