thumbnails

can any body tell me where to find a tutorial about creating thumbnail from original pictures, but that i dont have to make a new folder for the thumbnails..


i seen a few tutorial and they talka bout creating 2 gallery.. one for the original size and one for thumbnails..

but i seen website that when you upload a picture it simply dot hise..


originalname.jpg

thn_original.jpg


so it's not in a different directory it's just add the thn to turn it in to a thumbnail..

You can use PHP's GD functions to generate thumbnails on-the-fly.
