A client of mine has asked me to look into setting up a live video stream through his website so that only members can view it.
I dont think ill have a problem setting up the access to it with PHP but im not sure how to feed the video through.
He has bought a couple of high definition webcams which are mounted in the appropriate place and these are linked through to his computer.
Does anybody have any advice?

whit php or not :-)
You can download Microsoft Media Encoder for free. You'll have to get a static IP, and a camera (w/ or wo/ microphone). It's not a quick learn, but not that difficult. If you want to take this route, download the software, look through it and ask me questions. I don't want to go through all the details if you're not going to do this, but if you do, only the people you give out the url to will know where to go to watch.

Please, take the time and do some research and find out how much it would have cost you to get your help from a decent paid-for source. A "roll-of-the-dice" freelancer will charge you $5-$15/hr. A decent entry level freelancer will charge you around $15-30/hr. A professional will charge you anywhere from $50-$100/hr. An agency will charge anywhere from $100-$250/hr. Think about all this when soliciting for help here. Think about how much money you are making from the work you are asking for help on. No, we do not expect you to pay for the help given here, but donating a few bucks is a fraction of the cost of what you would have paid, shows your appreciation, helps motivate people to keep offering help without the pricetag, and helps make this a higher quality free-help community

No. no porn site.
The idea came up when we where having a party and we broadcasted the party via MSN so friends of us coud see what we where doing and stuff.
No bedroom peeking or anything kinky, just for fun.
