[SOLVED] href, onclick, and wheres my hand!

So this seems like a simple thing to fix, I just can't for the life of me get a google search that has some reliable info on it.  It may be that I just don't know what I'm looking for, anyway here it is:

echo '<a style="text-decoration: none" href="javascript://" onclick="document.getElementById(\'pageNo\').value = '.$i.'; document.lookup.submit();">'.'...'.'</a>';

I have a few lines like this to create paging.  On my other pages it works but I had to use "onclick" for this page and suddenly the little mouse over hand has disappeared when I mouse over the numbers.  How can I fix this?

Thanks, Mike.
