random1 Posted July 1, 2008 Share Posted July 1, 2008 I have a PHP web app that uses mySQL (InnoDB engine), PHP 5 and Apache. I want this app to be able to have an built-in update feature. For example: Admin user logs in Message appears in box saying that "A new version ..... is available, would you like to update?" User clicks the link and downloads new/replacement files, relevant SQL scripts are run and then the user is notified that the "new version has been installed" Is this the best way to do this?
