Was you including PHP code in your post? If you was there is security script running on the server which will lcase that error message on some PHP functions, such when you want to post say the phpinfo function you need to do something like this:
[code]<?php

phpinfo ();

//other functions:
fopen ();
fclose ();

?>[/code]
Just add a space before the parenttheses
