I'm trying to add file upload form to one of my pages using php

you can view it at [a href=\"http://www.kgportraits.com/upload.php\" target=\"_blank\"]http://www.kgportraits.com/upload.php[/a]

there is a problem with the "copy" function if you notice. What is the problem here?

Thx.

Have you got the correct CHMOD settings for the folder you are wanting to upload to.

I believe they should be 777 and can be set from a basic FTP client such as SmartFTP.

yes...the permissions are set to allow writing by anyone. 777.

Does a PHP program have to be installed on the server? I'm not sure how PHP works...does "something" have to be installed on the server for this to work?

Since the script is being parsed, you apparently have php on your server.

Perhaps if you showed us the code you are using we would be in a better position to assist.

Lite...

Thanks! The paths to view both files "upload.php" and "config.php" (they work together) are here:

[a href=\"http://www.kgportraits.com/upload.inc\" target=\"_blank\"]www.kgportraits.com/upload.inc[/a]

[a href=\"http://www.kgportraits.com/config.inc\" target=\"_blank\"]www.kgportraits.com/config.inc[/a]

Thanks so much - hopefully you can figure this out. Also...I have put in this for you to look at:

[a href=\"http://www.kgportraits.com/phpinfo.php\" target=\"_blank\"]www.kgportraits.com/phpinfo.php[/a]

is my absolute path in config.php correct?
