Hello, I at a total lost, Please check this page [a href=\"http://freedvdrecorder.co.uk/games\" target=\"_blank\"]http://freedvdrecorder.co.uk/games[/a] and you will see what I am talking about. Its very very wide, while if you go to [a href=\"http://freedvdrecorder.co.uk/privacy\" target=\"_blank\"]http://freedvdrecorder.co.uk/privacy[/a] It is normal looking. Can you tell me why?? If you need to see any codes let me know and i will provide them. I really need an answer soon since this website is to launch in 8 days. Thank you everyone.

They're the same width viewed with Firefox, and neither is 'very wide'.

This appears to be, or have been, an html problem and not anything to do with php so I'm moving the thread as appropriate.

Thank you for moving it to the right forum, If i open with IE the games.php page has a white space after it and it goes on and on and on while the other pages, do not have this. Do you see this?

Wow! I do see this. Firefox seems to be much more lenient with html code than IE. So We will have to see the code if there is php other wise I’ll look at the source code. It looks like an HTML problem.

Have you considered external style sheets?

Wow skimming through this, this is some mighty fine coding. Probably something miner too!

Umm, being 754 lines it will take a while to analyze!

There are lots of code errors in the html, so no surprise that it displays differently with different browsers. The link below is the W3C html validator report on your page.

[a href=\"http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Ffreedvdrecorder.co.uk%2Fgames\" target=\"_blank\"]http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%...r.co.uk%2Fgames[/a]

Which specific error causes the problem you see isn't obvious (it might be the random div tag beyond the closing html tag), but fixing them all is your best bet.

Yeah, I noticed that too... It's oddly placed... And yes it was thrown together but I like the style of the coding and the structure of it

Andy do you think we should point out all of the mistakes or have them go through and fix them and see if it works then?

The clickable link in my post above generates a complete list of all html non-compliances, and the line number where they occur. It's pretty easy to work from that [img src=\"style_emoticons/[#EMO_DIR#]/wink.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"wink.gif\" /]

This thread is more than a year old. Please don't revive it unless you have something important to add.
