haku Posted October 10, 2008 Share Posted October 10, 2008 The first two lines are your document type. They tell the browser what kind of document you are sending. Then the browser uses that to decide what rules to use when taking your code and turning it into something visual. You want to have a doctype - it's both good and important. However, you are using an XHTML Strict doctype, which is the most...strict. I'm guessing you are still fairly new (or you would know what it is), so you probably want to use an XHTML transitional doctype - they are more forgiving. Google should help you find one. And yes, you want to change the 'nl'. I don't know if 'ar' is right (never programmed an arabic site), but it sounds right. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
