toprashantjha Posted October 15, 2008 Share Posted October 15, 2008 hi all, in my application i have one selectbox and i need to disable some option and i was trying will DISABLED attribute within OPTION tag.. but it is not working in IE..The code is like this... <select> <option value="volvo">Volvo</option> <option value="saab" disabled="disabled">Saab</option> <option value="mercedes" disabled="disabled">Mercedes</option> </select> I am not getting another way to disable this.. could any body help me please... Maq Posted October 15, 2008 Share Posted October 15, 2008 Please read the support for this disabled in the W3 Schools. The disabled you're doing is only supported as of IE 8.0.
