getting echo data ?

}
if($_GET['id']=='1'){

        echo $a;

}

How can i get $a value from ?id=0 to ?id=1, but $a must be in ?id=0

example wht im trying to do:

if($_GET['id']=='1'){

        echo '<a href="'. $a .'">'. $a .'</a>';

}
