You need a DNS (domain name server) to point to your IP address.

 

Your domain record at your domain registrar contains a name server (NS) field. That field needs to point to the DNS server that contains an A (address) record with your IP address.

 

If you don't already have a DNS server available and don't want to set one up, most people use a service like dyndns - http://www.dyndns.com/
