Apache HTTP Server stopped working and was closed

Hello, I am using Windows Vista and I have no idea how to get Apache working. I am very new to php and apache and seeking for professional help.

 

I installed Apache using XAMPP.

Sounds like a process was ended and not restarted properly. Have you tried to manually stop and start apache?
