I cant even remember the last time I saw a 800 x 600 res screenSo, my question to you is, do you think its necessary to optimise for 800 x 600, or can I take a step up the size ladder? This is usually called fluid or liquid web design. wildteen88 Posted July 7, 2006 Share Posted July 7, 2006 Most people use 1024*768 screens resolutions now a days. very few people will be using 800*600 screens. However to make sure your site looks good in any resolution you should use percentages rather than fixed widths. With percentages your sites becomes fluid.
