Ken Nielsen Posted March 3, 2009 Share Posted March 3, 2009 I've been working through the David Powers book on CS3 Dreamweaver and PHP for the last year and I'm finally at the chapter where PHP will be demonstrated in action. I've got the PHP file open in Dreamweaver and now it says to preview the page in a browser. When I hit preview in browser, I get an error, file (and it renames the file with gibberish random characters) does not exist. What on earth??? How can I approach this to find a solution. I am frustrated to say the least. I'm using a Mac, Apache installed, and am following the lesson to the letter. There has got to be something major I am missing... Going back through chapters 3 and 4 to make sure my setup is right, and then also discovering I mis-typed my username to access the site directory. Live and learn.
