open_basedir

Let me outline my goal so you can understand my problem I am faced with for ctyankee.org (on Plesk #3). I have a main website and quite a few subdomains. I want to be able to use the same set of base include files for all the domains, but can\'t access them in an of the subdomains because of open_basedir restrictions which means i can\'t access files outside the domains directory meaning I can\'t access files under the main website. Is there any way

such that my subdomains can also view the pages under my directory, thus the open_basedir for the subdomains would need to be something like... /usr/local/psa/home/vhosts/admin.ctyankee.org/httpdocs:/tmp:/usr/local/psa/home/vhosts/ctyankee.org/httpdocs Adding that third part would allow access to files on the main domain.

The main part why I cant use the one type of solution is that as soon as the site is browsed I am finding that the entries that I had made inside httpd.include has been deleted or erased so this is the restriction of open_basedir, so how can I overcome the restriction of open_basedir :?:
