load custom page in anothers page iframe

I have two pages named index.htm and page.htm. Page.htm has an iframe.
I want to open page.htm from index.htm with a specific page in the iframe for each link.

How can I do that?
I hope my question is clear :-\

please help

first of all, let me ask you this. do you know any php or javascript?

or [php] * 1000...

Not really, I know a few basics of php but I'm still learning. But still, I you can give me a few hints, please do :D

server-side:

Set the default URL of the iframe to the value of a GET request, or accept a numerical GET request and compare that with a stored array of pages with corrosponding numerical keys.

Read the PHP manual for information on how to do this.
Too complex? Find some tutorials on the net (At sites like http://www.phpfreaks.com/)

Client-side:
