Detecting IFrame change

Abstroose

Recommended Posts

Hi, I need a little help.

I was wondering it it's possible to use PHP to detect when the page being displayed in an iframe changes.

For example, an iframe is displaying a webpage. The user clicks a link (_self) on the webpage, causing it to open a different page in the iframe. I am in need of a script that will call a function (IE. Goto a new page) when this happens.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

No... php runs on the server and has no idea what an iFrame even is. You'd need to use javascript.
