glenelkins
HiI need to run a script every day at 0:00 but the server i need to setup the script on does not support CRON.Is there a way I can have this script run every day at 0:00?? I thought about using some of the time functions. Run the script once to start it off, and then it can check the time every minute until it finds 0:00. But the problem Im facing is how do i get the script to continue to run even when the browser closes?Any ideas people?
trq
Is this a windows server or something? Maybe you could use task scheduler?Otherwise, your kinda stuck. If its a high traffic site you could have each page check the time and if its near to 0:00 you could run the script, but if you dont get any hits around that time, well, the script wont run. This really is a server issue... not much php can do.
