okay, so.. I'm usually not so bad at installing junk like this. or at least i don't think i am. I've asked on the forums for this script and different related places, but I'm not getting anywhere. can someone help me install this onto my server? it should NOT be this hard, but it really is.

trying to put http://www.elgg.org/ on http://milkywaytrain.com/cafe

getting some sort of weird "Cache path set to nothing!" plus more crap.

I've checked for the requirements, everything seems to be all fine. what is this? why is this happening?

please, please help!

I've posted to two official groups associated (one that actually exists in the official website) with the script, and I've gotten no replies. I see only one previous problem posted about this from someone else quite some time ago and they had gotten no response, just as I haven't. I'm getting really impatient with myself, haha. I'm just running around in circles here! very disappointing. i was very excited.

it seems as though a lot of large websites run with elgg and not many people (only one that I know of) have ever had this same problem. perhaps you could help me? do you have MSN or AIM or Gchat?
