prettylilthings Posted June 18, 2009 Share Posted June 18, 2009 Hello, I'm a newbie at PHP and MySQL. I have absolutely no experience on those but I do have experience in HTML. I've read some tutorials about basic PHP and MySQL but I can't seem to understand what's going on. I'm trying to build a simple website that displays several products to be sold. Products include some bags, jewelry, clothes, and accessories. I'm hoping to have the website be able to sort products according to product type, price, condition, etc. I was thinking to use a MySQL database, but I'm not sure if this is the right tool for what I want to achieve. I have an account on free-space.net which supports PHP and MySQL. I've created a database called "Products", but I'm stuck from here. I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do next since I have no experience in building a MySQL database. I would be grateful for any help! Thanks!
