MYSQL Password help

I recently updated to Win XP on my webserver...now I have an error on every one of my pages


mySQL Error! Function: dbClose. [1045 - Access denied for user: \'root@localhost\' (Using password: NO)]



Any solution? Im sure its simple :oops:

Check the my.ini file that u have in ur c:windows

[WinMySQLadmin]
Server=C:/mysql/bin/mysqld-nt.exe
user=admin
password=admin
QueryInterval=10

Now see here what password u have set

ANd after I do that, what do i do?
there is no password in there....its blank
