juanc Posted August 4, 2006 Share Posted August 4, 2006 Hi here’s some code I wrote earlier
//page1.phpItem 1
Item 2
Item 3
Item 4
Item 5
//page2.php<?phpsession_start();if(isset($_GET[‘id’]) { $_SESSION[‘shopping_cart’] = $_GET[‘id’]; }?>
Simply what I want is a way for $_SESSION[‘shopping_cart’] to be able to hold all the id’s for each respective item selected. For example if the user selected item 1, 3 and 5 the value for $_SESSION[‘shopping_cart’] should be 1, 3 and 5. How could I do that? Can the session become an array and I could loop through it with a foreach loop? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

juanc Posted August 4, 2006 Author Share Posted August 4, 2006 thanks very much but I was hoping someone could show me "codewise" how $_SESSION['shopping_cart'] could end up holding all the id's for each item chosen Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
