Database Replication Woe's.

Hello all...

I love this forum as everyone here has been so helpful with all my PHP, and MySql problems - which is why this is the first place I will come to share my Microsoft SQL problems.

I really hope someone here can help with this.

I'm trying to replicate a Database from one SQL server to another over the LAN.  I've got everything setup, and I've got one SQL server subscribed to the Publisher, and the distribution/snapshot agent(s) work.  I tested on the default "Pubs" db and it works like a charm!

So on to my production database.  I have a feeling the problem stems with the size of the database, and the setup of the initial replication snapshot.  This database is just over 100Gb in size.  I get about 2 tables copied, and I get an error message from the Snapshot Agent

"The process could not bulk copy out of table '[dbo].[tablename]'"

I know I have enough space because I've set the snapshot location on my local machine (300+ Gb free space) which is also the subscribing SQL server...  As I said before, the "Pubs" database replicated with no problems, and is still working great.

Does anyone have good experience with Database Replication over the network?  I could really use your help here.  Please feel free to ask more questions if it helps solve this pain in the ass problem...

:wtf: ... this sucks!  :( :( :'(
