Changing the alphabet

Recommended Posts

I know it's possible, I've seen it done but I've completely forgotten how they did it. I tried simple things like str_replace, preg_replace, etc.. But then after a few mistakes I finally realized that I was replacing some letters OVER and OVER. the script didn't keep looping, i just lost the alphabet I set.
Anyway, I just want a-z and 0-9 to be changed to what I want. how do I do it?

Is strtr() what you are looking for?

maybe.. but i don't wanna retype all that. I'm gonna find a way to blend arrays, if I can't, oh well. I guess i'll just go the LONG way.
