i use an upload script to upload images and was wondering if there was any way of uploading the same image to 2 different folders and changing the size of one of the images to be used as a thumbnail.

this i s the code i use at the moment:
if ($_FILES['uploadedfile']['name'] !=""){
$pic1=$_FILES['uploadedfile']['name'];
$target_path = "/home/dledge/public_html/images/gallery/";
$target_path = $target_path . basename( $_FILES['uploadedfile']['name']);
if(move_uploaded_file($_FILES['uploadedfile']['tmp_name'], $target_path)) {
    echo "The file $pic1 has been uploaded<br><br>";
} else{
    echo "There was an error uploading the file, please try again!";
}}
else {$nm = '0';
echo "No New Picture Added!<br><br>";}
any ideas?

gdlibrary is a library that allows php to do some image magic!

depending on your version of php it may be bundled with it - just find the extension in teh php.ini file and uncomment the line - restart and bang your ready.

image_create from is indeed a function.
