shane85 Posted August 21, 2009 Share Posted August 21, 2009 been seraching the weband having trouble finding what im looking for... id like to have an admin panel where I can log in and add/update news to my website. now I know there are LOTS of them out there as I have been looking for days but havent found one that is what im looking for...they are either completely way to advanced, or too basic....so I may have to take a basic one and learn/write the rest of it (im new!) Basically I just want to be able to log in through an admin panel on my site, enter a title, and news article...for a desription, i know php has something that I can use to just dispaly the first x ammount of characters, I just need to look in my book again on how to do that. I would like to use the date function to include the date aswell...and then display months "jan" "feb" etc...if they click on jan, then show something likes new.php?month=jan and display the articles from that month. like I said im still learning so take it easy on me! if anyone knows of any basic scripts such as I have described, id appreciate if you can point me in the right direction. thanks!
